Business owner in Sarasota here. Just paid $430.00 for a job that required 2 different things. Recharging a cooler that has a very slow leak and fixing a drain line leak on an ice machine. Total job took about an hour to complete, but they decided to charge me for the time that the guy spent to go and pick up the part and then for the parts as well. According to Raynor its standard practice to charge the company they are doing work for to go pick up the parts if they don't have it on the truck. The only parts needed to be picked up was PVC pipe to repair a drain line on an ice machine. I was charged $50 for maybe 4 feet of pipe and a couple of joints and some glue (cost them maybe 10 to 20 bucks at the most) plus $50 for the coolant and $330 for the time it took to go pick up the part and install it and charge the cooler with gas. The job was done well and I have no qualm with the quality of the work. Just know that if they go out for parts they will charge you however long it takes them to go to the store and buy them and bring it back to install it. As a business owner you start to feel hamstringed by the industry because they find more interesting ways to charge you for things. Personally $330 in labor + travel for a job that took under an hour and $50 for pipe is pretty steep. When I talked to what I assume was a manager they said, "They could make huge upcharges for parts like everyone else but we charge for the technicians time." I would get that if they didn't also crazy upcharge me for the parts that they used (more than 100% upcharge) and just charged me for the time they took. They did both. Like I said nothing wrong with the quality of work so far, but their pricing doesn't seem to make sense to me. But maybe someone can offer insight as to whether this is normal? I could be barking up a tree that doesn't need barking. And in which case I am I will gladly rerate my review to a higher rating to reflect the good quality of work that they did and the pleasentness of their employee on the job.

They charge the time since the worker gets on the car, if he needs to find out something because he does not know or does not have it this time they also charge, and from 10:45 to 12 they charge you an hour and a half, for a spare that costs $ 45 at the factory they charge you $ 125. And all this in the end did not fix what had been requested. And not being enough, when you call to ask for a "guarantee" on the work already paid and they don't give it.

Response from the owner
We are based out of Sarasota, Florida and not Fort Stockton, Texas and have never done work at a Little Caesars so we believe this review was left for the wrong company. We've been in business since 1985 and take pride in our work and can assure you our prices are comparable to all other refrigeration companies in the area. If any of our actual customers have any questions with what they have been charged we are happy to discuss with a simple phone call to talk about any issues they may have.
