      Used through home warranty to fix HVAC, condensed version. Initial visit was May 1, 2021. After waiting to hear back from them, and trying to contact them multiple times, they eventually came back and replaced the compressor. The house never cooled. They eventually came back again while my husband was home, "fixed" something, and told my husband, "you should be good for a long while." The house, again, never cooled. They eventually came back out and said the whole unit would need to be replaced. On June 29th I was called stating the unit was in, was made aware of the costs not covered by the warranty, and paid it over the phone. They stated the unit would be installed July 6th. No call no show. Then went through many rounds of rescheduling and no one showing up. August 23rd I made them aware the next day would make 8 weeks since I paid and if they weren't out that day I would need my money back. He stated he understood. Of course, no one showed up. I was told a refund check would be sent to me, but one never was. Thankfully I had used a credit card through my bank and on September 7th I made a claim dispute. During this time I kept trying to get the refund incase the dispute wasn't approved. Nothing ever came of it. Thankfully October 12th the refund was applied to my card. 5.5 months of wasted time and frustration, made it all Summer with no AC, and now that I'm connected with another HVAC company, I won't even need AC for the rest of the year.

      Wilmington, Nc. Multiple issues with this company, which was assigned to me through my home warranty program. The technician “B” came to my house to assess an air conditioning concern, and did nothing to trouble shoot the unit, except say that the unit wasn’t big enough to cool the floor. Which, isn’t true. I tried multiple times to get this company to come back and reassess and fix it, to no avail. I even had the insurance company try to address it and they could not. Also made a duct work claim, they never came to assess or even start. I had to hire my own company who promptly came out, checked the internal filter on the handler - and fixed the HVAC cooling problem. Such an easy fix, but the AP technician was too lazy or incompetent to try to troubleshoot. I filed a second ductwork claim, and was reassigned to Hooked up Heating and cooling. Google reviews showed that Hooked up is the same company and owners as All Pro, they just created a new business in may 2021. Low and behold, the SAME technician showed up at our house, and even has the nerve to ask did we ever get the other problem fixed. He told my husband and I the duct problem was from a securement issue, the duct work had fallen and now needed replacing. I verified with my company that it was covered. The technician falsely claimed to the owner that our duct problem was due to rats, the owner wrote that on the report, and then submitted that to the ins company which denied our claim. I called the technician immediately and he backtracked his report saying that “the owner wrote that, I didn’t write it or tell him that”. I let the tech know I knew about them being all pro, and they needed to make this right!!!! Soon after the owner called me all huffy, defensive, and denying that they did anything wrong. I told him what his tech told us, and that he was lying about the rats and they screwed me. The owner, who admitted that they use to be all pro, but he has since separated from them and started his own business because the previous owner was an alcoholic, acted more worried about me writing a bad review than he did making this right. He said he’d call me back after he figured out what happened with his tech, and he didn’t. It seems like they have lots to figure out, the dishonest lazy tech is a huge problem, and so is the defensive owner not making things right and taking ins money without doing their job. So here I am - zero stars. Do. Not. Voluntarily use this company, and if you are assigned them through your warranty - do not pay up front, pay after the job is DONE.

      I was connected to these people via my home warranty company. Our initial visit was fine and they quickly diagnosed the problem (which I have since confirmed with another company), but that was the end of my positive experience. Since that time, they have been nearly impossible to reach. On the few occasions I got a hold of someone, I was able to make appointments, each of which were no shows by the technician. They haven't answered any of my calls since the last missed appointment before the holiday. I have now been without AC in the Carolina summer heat for over two months. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
