I just scheduled an appointment and I am impressed. Their customer service was sensational. She asked a lot of great questions to ensure the service I scheduled would be tailored for successfully repairing my issue, and she was tremendously kind, patient and friendly. This builds confidence in the service to come as finding great service communication has not always been customer driven like this was so thank you!

Windward air conditioning can't be trusted! The sold me Fugitsu units for my three bedrooms and a 24,000 btu unit for my living room. They informed me that if I had it serviced by them twice a year the five year warranty would be honored. I religiously had it serviced twice a year paying up to $500 per service. My units just hit five years and my living room unit is broken and my master bedroom unit broke because of bad equipment which Fugitsu ended up covering the parts, but Winward Air Conditioning charged over $2,000 of labor cost to install it--what a RIP off! So much for honoring the warranty, they totally overcharged me and when I talked to the technician he said Fugitsu cut costs by making the coils thinner so that's why they don't last--thanks for telling me now! I wish I knew that before I paid $15,000 for my units, and had Windward A/C coming out regularly and charging me $500 plus dollars a service call and Not even seeing the problem--Really, what am I paying you for? Good Air conditioning units last up to 20 years, but my units didn't even last five! When I reached out to Greg and Dawn Capobianco--the owners of Windward Air Conditioning--they pushed the blame to Fugitsu and was not willing to work with me on cutting down the steep labor costs even if they are the professionals and sold me a flawed unit! They have No class and have No Aloha Spirit! It's All about the money with them, so I Strongly recommend that you Never do business with that company!

These are the rantings of a disgruntled customer that has blown things way out of proportion. First of all the units were used 24/7 which causes major wear and tear. They were given all parts under warranty. After the first year they have to pay freight (if part not in stock at distributor) and labor. Yes having maintenance done on a regular 6 month basis is perfect. It is very rare for an air conditioning unit to last 20 years, especially in Hawaii. We gave them more than one free service call and got them labor costs paid by Fujitsu a couple of times. We did what we could. We wish you much Aloha.

After 7 months the air conditioning unit broke and Windward will not service it because system was purchased by 1st owner only. This is a NEW UNIT and it should not break. Additionally Windward receptionist stated they were NOT TAKING ON NEW CLIENTS, which I am sure is not accurate. They won't even take money to repair the problem. Look at the reviews. Go elsewhere.

Some equipment distributors will not allow warranty to anyone other than the initial owner because the equipment was registered to them.
