I had an issue with a part on my 13 year old system. I could not get it fixed so I called Zac and they installed new HVAC system very quickly as it was middle of winter. I was very happy!  Highly recommend!

Awesome folks! I called on the 18th to arrange for someone to come out and have a look at our AC which was not working. Kim, the gal on the phone was super-friendly and accommodating, and set me up for 3 days out, which was perfect for us. Todd was out tech and although he got held up at the previous job a couple hours, he showed up, did quick, efficient work and my AC was back on and the job was done in under an hour. Friendly and helpful across the board. I highly recommend these folks if you need AC or Heat repair. I will use them again in the future 100%!

Had a wonderful experience with Zac and his crew. They have repaired many issues for our personal residential property as well as our business. We have had quality service from start to finish. The owner has even taken the time to call and follow up on his employees.
You can tell that he takes pride in his work and his company!

Had a heat pump system installed in July 2019, to be utilized for AC in summer and Heat in spring/fall.  Zac and team were great, prompt, and professional.  Before the install they told me I needed an 8 wire thermostat line, so I did get that installed beforehand but then they ended up not using it.  That was a little annoying, I went through the trouble of installing something they told me was needed, then they didn’t use it.  Fast forward to the first season change when I moved the thermostat selector from Cool to Heat, and problems started popping up.  Through the next year and a half, almost every season change I had to call to fix something (either wasn't heating, wasn’t cooling, or cooling when in heat mode).  All seemed to be electrical control issues, nothing mechanical.  The last two calls, multiple technicians had to come look at it to diagnose.  Both times the technicians said the system wasn't installed correctly.  Stated since I have an 8 wire thermostat line to the unit downstairs that the controller box in the furnace wasn’t needed, and the controls method was unconventional/confusing.  They have tried 3 different thermostats now, with the most recent thermostat being the original I started with.
In June of 2021 I received a bill to pay for the last service call in April of 2021.  This last service call was when the system was cooling when placed in Heat mode, something that wasn’t tested and was a result of the prior service call in November of 2020.  After contacting Zac, Zac tells me that he can assure me the system was installed correctly and that the recent bill was because I was out of warranty on my last service call.  What???  After repeated calls every season change, and multiple technicians telling me the system wasn’t installed correctly, now it is my problem because Zac’s team didn’t install it correctly?  I have to pay for an install issue where the system cools when placed into Heat mode?  After repeated attempts to correspond with Zac after his initial response on the bill with no response received from him afterwards, I am frustrated to the point where I am writing this negative review.  Hoping this information will help future customers, as I cannot recommend Top Notch to anyone based on my negative experiences.

We called for an estimate to replace an old inoperative AC unit. The representative came the same day,  and we received a quote the following day, and installation the first thing the following week. The installers cleaned up the area better than they found it. We were impressed.

After our heat went out over the weekend, we called first thing Monday morning and they were able to get us on their schedule very quickly and have our furnace running like a top after a cleaning and proper venting.

Todd was very clear with what he was doing and what would be required and followed up several times.

I purchase a boiler and the install was finished incorrect in which the installer decided to go deer hunting instead, leaving me no heat. The owner decided to come out and add a valve which was not installed by the original installer. I would have fired him although I was told he quit shortly after.
I continued to have one issue where the boiler would call for heat but wouldn't fire. The house would get cold and top notch would come out and turn the power off and on to rest the boiler but never found what the cause was. After a half a dozen service calls for the same issue I called Bradford white the company that puts its stickers over it but not  truely manufactured by Bradford white. Some company named Lars or something like that makes their boilers. Anyways I have 30 years experience working as a field service engineer for a large robotics company fixing robots for any problems including software, electrical, printed circuit boards, Allen Bradley IO. I'm not, nor do I claim to know HVAC systems, they are definitely a lot simpler than a robotic system. After discussing the issue with technical support with Lars he seemed to know what was causing the issue and asked me to have the top notch puppeteer call the next failure. A new face was the next victim searching for failure and I let him know about my phone call to Lars and told the guy to call Lars. He called and it was mention to the guy that there was a outdoor sensor that was forgotten about. They never mounted the sensor, and added a diode across the contacts more or less jumpering that signal.  It took care of that problem but within weeks it seems to have created two different issues. I think I've had everyone of their service techs, Chad, Tyler, Todd, Chris including Zack for a year and a half without proof that it has been resolved. The latest service call was mid March 2021 which they added water (bandaid fix)which I paid top notch for a new expansion tank and auto fill valve which apparently is still not working.
What should one expect after paying $6000.00 for a boiler which also include the tank , valve and labor not counting damages? One would/should expect  it to run efficiently at least one heating season. One of their tech came out to fix a leak and splattered solder on the carpet and a new couch; had a year to fix the remaining problems. This went to small claims which top notch said it was working when they cycled the power but it didn't fix what was causing the issue. I think judges should stick to the law and not judge technical issues or any cases which they are not versed on. I started out with an arbitrator but she didn't get it either. She actually said I mention something which I never did, and Zack said she did the same to him.
No one wanted to fix the carpet because it's too small of a job although the area was probably 25 square feet with at least 100-200 splatters of solder on the carpet and couch. I couldn't get a quote because I may have agreed with the quote then they may have to honor although they said they didn't want the job.
The good reviews had to end sometime. I wish it never came to this but it's probably because I'll need to buy another boiler. I already have close to 1k more in this boiler so I don't think I want to sink anymore into this lemon...any suggestions of a new mechanical company?

This place is  awesome.  My furnace was Red tagged at 8:30 am. I called Top Notch & by 4:30 I  got a call saying the new furnace was installed & running. I am forever grateful  for their response especially on such a cold day! I can't express how awesome everyone was!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this company. I own a couple rentals at Shanty Creek and one of our AC units stopped working over the weekend during the 90 degree heat. Zach, the owner, came out on a Sunday and was able to diagnose and fix the AC during our short change out time before our new guest arrived. He seriously saved me from such a large headache. Pricing wasn't super steep and what I expected for a weekend service call. You will not go wrong with this company! Keep up the great customer service Zach!

They were very quick to come to my house and look at my furnace and they put a new thermostat on that wasnt the problem  Called them back the next day and told them I still had a problem with my furnace it wouldn't work right and he said he was going to come out either that day or the next day in the morning and blew me off and never called me back I had to have someone else come look at my furnace. got a quote for a new furnace and they were twice as much as everyone else
