Customer for life. I’ve had 3 different members of this family owned business service my air unit. They have been awesome every time. They always find the problem quickly and explain things as they go. The emergency service was faster than expected. I will be a customer for life!

I cannot recommend this company. They say one thing, do another, then bill you for it. One lesson I've learned with my experience with Miller's HVAC repair, is insist upon a quote up front and make them stick to it. There are other very good, fair priced HVAC companies in Smyrna and Nashville area.

Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend this company for any repairs or installations. I purchased a new home in Oct. 2014 with a bonus room above the garage. A Goodman zoned HVAC system was installed, before I had a chance to say otherwise. This unit worked ok at first, but it simply DOES NOT work in hot weather. We live in TN... an average high temperature in July-August is the mid 90s. I called Miller Services and explained the problem. One good thing is that they are quick to respond and are accommodating to prompt service times. I explained that the unit just simply does not cool upstairs. It will work, then just simply quits and gets 88+ degrees up there, eliminating a couple hundred square feet of useful space used by our kids. The technician came out and it seemed to "work fine". After just dealing with a horrible unit, I contacted Miller Services again. They came out and adjusted the fan speed on the damper, which would be great if cold air would actually and consistently be able to be blown out, but, alas, that did not fix it. The technician explained to me that "that's just the was these units work" and that they "installed the unit requested by the contractor/builders" and that "he wouldn't recommend a zone unit for the floor plan", insinuating that the builder did so to save money. He then explained that the best way to cool this floor plan would be another unit altogther... about $3k-$4k out of my pocket. Mind you, this unit is 18 months old. After contacting them a third time, the technician was very short with me and said that all he could do was to change to damper. When asked if this is under warranty, he said no and that the part would cost $300-$400. Well, everything I've read about this unit is that it has a 5-10 years parts warranty. To add a fun twist, I've contacted one of the builders and they said that type of unit an have tendencies to struggle in hot weather, but they installed what Miller Services recommended for the floor plan. I love the finger-pointing game and I wish I knew who was full of it in this situation. All in all, I would not recommend this company for any services.
