I Love this company! The nicest people to work with. Mr Bailey and his associate diagnosed a carbon minoxide leak coming from my furnace. right before Christmas! From beginning to end of the installation process  of a new furnace they were PROFESSIONAL!  Clean, prompt, courteous, only took a SHORT BREAK  for
lunch and worked throughout the whole day. They wore masks in my prescence, which I truly
appreciated! LB  came back and installed a new thermostat for me and instructed me on how to use it. Unrequested! And GATOR REPAIRED MY CELLAR DOOR THAT CAME OFF IT'S HINGES!! 😁 I will only do business with Bailey's as long as I own my home. I TOTALLY TRUST THEM!!

Contacted them for an emergency repair of a boiler that failed two days before the temperatures were going to -14. They had to order a boiler so they brought in heaters for us to use. They saved us thousands of dollars as well as possibilities the house being destroyed. They started working on it the day before the boiler came in and we’re ready for the install the next day. They saved a beautiful home from being destroyed. My other house will be needing a furnace at some point and will 100% use them. True neighborhood business who cares about their customers! Can’t recommend them enough!

I called Baileys to fix my central air. When the guy arrived he told me it was installed improperly and that it was too hot and he was to old to be crawling under trailers. then charged me 94 dollars!! I then received a letterfrom Baileys with a check for 94 dollars and a note telling me to call the original installer!! I called them and explained to them that the original installer was not returningmy call and they told me " well we can't help you We don't crawl under trailers. They are a heating and air conditioning BUSINESS!! I eventually called Chalk's and they were VERY professional!! They were able to fix my air for 1/2 the price that Baileys charges!!

Our heat was turning on and off late in the day yesterday and decided to call Baileys. The 1st thing they said, before ever looking at it was "your furnace is 25 years old & we probably won't be able to find parts for a furnace that old" implying we'd probably be looking at having to spend thousands on a new furnace! They sent someone out around 7 PM, and we knew it would cost a little more money for an evening call ($160 for a diagnosis & temporary fix, which held up through the night) and since it was in the 20's overnight, we were ok with that. Well, luckily they found the part & I left work 2 & 1/2 hours early to meet him here at 2:00 this afternoon. Here's where I started getting upset! He said he had to get some paperwork ready, and a few minutes later he showed me the invoice & said it would be $589 to install this small part!! Above the "total" hidden off to the side, was a charge for $145. I asked what that charge was for & he said it was a fee for an annual servicing plan. I asked if it was necessary & he hesitantly said no. I said we don't wan't this plan & asked him to remove it from the "total".  He replied it would still be $589. I said the invoice was deceiving & it looked like the 589 included the 145 plan! I then asked how much the part was & he said "it's $589 -part and installed...we don't sell the parts". Rolling my eyes & getting a bad feeling...against my gut I told him to go ahead with the work & signed the form - THEN he said oh that's 589 plus tax btw.  He was here for about an hour & fixed the furnace. My anger was not with the service or quality of work, but with the shadiness of how he thought he could try to get away with throwing the added $145 service plan, which would've been IN ADDITION TO the $589 "total" that he wanted me to sign off on! After all was said & done...we ended up paying a total of about $800...then found the exact part online, which was $129, with about an hour & 1/2 labor between last night, meaning we paid about $650 for an hour & 1/2 of labor?? Nothing on the invoice was itemized! I'm so mad at myself for not following my instincts, but this company has been around for a long time & I have a hard time believing that this company wouldn't be trustworthy....expensive lesson learned! Will never use this business again!!

Called The Bailey Co. for fall check of the furnace.  After the technician was finished he asked us "how would you like to buy a new expansion tank?" That was his way of explaining that I had a problem. When I expressed my displeasure of this since we had purchased the furnace less than two years ago he was very unhappy.  We later received a letter from the owner to "call someone else else" because we "questioned his integrity." This was the best advice we had received from them.

Another company found nothing wrong with the expansion tank but said that the pressure gauge was bad.  This would have been under warranty.

After spending over $6,000 dollars in less then two years, we have now decided that The Bailey Co. has questionable integrity and also a total lack of competence.

I have been dealing with the Bailey company for the past 15 years since they first installed a high efficiency furnace for me. In subsequent years they installed an air conditioning unit to compliment the furnace they had put in.
This year, the 15 year old blower motor failed on my furnace and was in need of replacement. Upon contacting Gary Bailey the owner of Bailey's I was told it would probably be an extended period of time before a replacement motor could be obtained from the factory. Gary took measures to keep my air conditioning going during the hottest part of the summer while I waited for a replacement motor.
The replacement motor was obtained, installed, and is running like a fine-tuned watch!

I admit, I know nothing about home repair, and my furnace had stopped working.  Wife was on me to get it fixed as it was 58 degrees in the house.  My dad could have fixed it but he was at work for another 8 hours.  I called Baileys.  88$ just to show up, 15 minutes to figure out it was a blown fuse on the unit itself.  $129 to replace it....15 minutes of work for $234, 2 weeks before Christmas.  Thanks guys...I'll be trying someone else next time.  $129 to replace a fuse...for real.  Lousy business practice.  I get a company has to make money.  But you were here for 15 minutes.  I was astonished.

Daniel Buchy's description of the owner is pretty spot on. He refuses to admit any wrongdoing on his part.

This spring/summer we had them work on our A/C & Boiler. The A/C issue was resolved. The boiler issue took a very long time to resolve. The first boiler repair at $540, which came in OVER original quote, did not solve the problem. In a phone call with my husband the owner let my husband know what they thought would fix the problem and that there would be no charge. A very nice Bailey repairman came to do the work and a few days later we received an invoice for $1160!!!!

My husband called to inquire about the invoice, the owner told him he misunderstood, he said he told him that if the second repair did NOT work, THEN there would be no charge. The owner also said he sent a quote in the mail. In the original phone call he never said anything about mailing a quote.

In the mail, we received what appeared to be a duplicate copy of the original bill for $540. I paid no attention to it because i already had a copy of it. Come to find out, this "quote" the owner was referring to was scribbled in tiny letters at the top of the duplicate bill they sent us.

Could this HUGE misunderstanding have been avoided? Absolutely! How? Simple... for starters the owner could have been more clear in his "no charge" statement, he could have told my husband he would be sending a quote in the mail, he could have written the quote up on a separate paper to make it obvious what it was- other than scribbling it in tiny letters at the top of a previous bill, he could have verbalized the quote to my husband as he did with the first repair, before starting the work he could have his repairman verify the work to be done and the quoted price. Had the owner done any of these simple things, this whole situation would have been avoided!

When I called to speak with the owner about all of this he was very defensive, as the previous reviewer described. He refused to admit that he handled any of this in the wrong manner. He kept saying he couldn't rework the bill. Which is fine, we NEVER asked him to. Just have some decent customer service... apologize and admit when you mishandle a situation!!! Had he been clear and up front with the second quote, we would not have gone forward with the repair at this time. We would also have gotten quotes from other companies because $1160 is not exactly a drop in the bucket.

Oh, and that catch phrase, " Fixed right the first time, or it's free"..... just a gimmick, they're simply words to suck you in. They'll just tell you there were additional unseen issues, and then they're off the hook.

For anyone that decides to utilize their services, I STRONGLY advise you to get all charges clearly stated up front. We thought we were being diligent about that, but obviously not enough.

You want it done right...call Bailey's...want a fair price...call Bailey's...want great service...call Bailey's...just call Bailey's...

I WAS CHARGED $867.78 FOR A "REPAIR". YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE "REPAIR" WOULD LAST MORE THAN A MONTH AND A HALF ( SERVICE COMPLETED ON JULY 10TH 2014 AND THE CENTRAL AIR SHUT OFF AT THE END OF AUGUST) I TURNED THE CENTRAL AIR BACK ON IN JUNE OF 2015 ONLY TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I CALLED THE COMPANY AND TALKED TO THE OWNER. WHAT I GOT WAS A DEFENSIVE AND ARGUMENTATIVE LITTLE SNOT ASKING ME HOW I KNOW IT WAS HIS COMPANY'S FAULT AND THAT IT WAS NOT ANOTHER PROBLEM. I TOLD HIM IT WAS DOING THE SAME THING: FREEZING UP AT THE PIPES , RUNNING CONSTANTLY BECAUSE IT WAS NOT REACHING THE DESIRED TEMP AND NOT COOLING THE HOUSE. RATHER THAN GET SOME PROFESSIONAL ADVICE AND A SATISFACTORY CUSTOMER ORIENTED RESPONSE, I GOT THIS ARROGANT OWNER MAKING QUESTIONABLE ANALOGIES TO A CAR. I CAN TELL YOU THIS GUY KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT CARS AND PROBABLY EVEN LESS ABOUT THE BUSINESS HE'S IN. HE WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DEFENSIVE, OFFENSIVE, AND RUDE. HE TOLD ME HE HAD A SUGGESTION: GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO  SERVICE MY UNIT. I'M TAKING HIS ADVICE. IT'S THE ONLY SMART THING HE SAID DURING OUR CONVERSATION. WHEN I OPENED THE WEB SIGHT  I SAW IT HAD A 1 STAR RATING. I CAN SEE WHY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT IF YOUR A/C OR HEATING SYSTEM NEEDS SERVICE OR REPAIRS, THAT YOU TAKE MR. BAILEY'S ADVICE TO ME " GO FIND SOMEONE ELSE "
AFTER MAKING THE INITIAL POST, I CALLED A REAL HEATING AND AIR COMPANY. THEY CAME AND CHECKED THE PROBLEM. THEY DETERMINED THAT THE BAILEY WORK WAS SHODDY AND THE PROBLEM SHOULD NOT HAVE OCCURRED IF THE WORK WAS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. HE POINTED OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND TOLD ME WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE THE FIRST TIME. THEIR FAILURE TO PROPERLY SERVICE MY UNIT.AND PROVIDING THE SHODDY SERVICE THAT THEY DID, NOW MADE MORE WORK FOR THE COMPANY TO WORK ON MY UNIT TO GET IT TO WORK PROPERLY.  I SHOWED HIM THE BILL FROM BAILEY'S AND HIS JAW DROPPED. HE FELT BAD FOR ME AND AGREED THAT I WAS TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS. THEIR ADVERTISEMENT: IF IT ISN'T DONE RIGHT IT'S FREE, IS A BOLD FACE LIE. IF I COULD RATE THIS COMPANY LOWER THAN 1 STAR I WOULD.  IT DESERVES A RATING OF  NEGATIVE 5 STARS. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!
