Never, ever, EVER again. I am writing my very first Google review to share that this was purely the absolute worst experience I have had with a business, period. Usually, if I write reviews elsewhere it’s when I have had a positive experience, because I understand that all businesses can have their ups and downs and bad days. But that is not the case in the slightest in this situation with Sears Home Services. I can’t even in good conscience call them a business. This is 100% a scam. Please do not waste your time with them, let alone give them any money. I promise you, it will only end in hours wasted arguing with their customer service along with loads of frustration. They lie to get you off the phone, their technicians will cancel randomly on you after hours of waiting for them (so forget it if you stay home from work for an entire afternoon to wait for them, you will waste that PTO time) and then they will refuse to refund you and then indicate in their system that they have refunded you, just to scam you out of more money. After going through a month-long fraud claim with our bank, we were told they would not approve it as the “company” told them that they had performed the service for us “to satisfaction” when no one has ever showed up to complete the service. I can’t begin to describe the levels of frustration we experienced with them. I will be posting a longer review of our experience on Yelp, if you want to see what we endured with this “company.” But I am sharing this because I am trying to save someone else the beyond HORRIBLE experience that we had with them. Do not walk away from this listing for your repair needs - run!

This is the worst service company I have ever had in 55 yrs of owning a home. They were assigned to me via American Home Shield as I had a contract w AHS to repair my washer, THEY CANCELLED 3X and it took them 8wks and not because of the weather. They sent an email saying they would be at my home only with the date, not a time. And that date, I awoke at 8 am and they were outside my door w NO notice. The tech were fine, BUT THE OVERALL SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!

I stayed home for the 4 hour block of time (0800-1200) I scheduled a technician to look at my washer. I got a text at 0913 saying a technician was on his way. No one showed. No one called or texted. No one answers the phone. Will never use this company again.
