  I had an interview for this company back in June to fill an open warehouse position. To give a background, I have over 10 years of logistical experience and am a combat vet. I complete the interview which I felt went well. However, the hiring manager and the person that conducted the interview went on vacation for about a month. I called just about every day to check on the status of employment. A nice young lady who had been answering my every day phone calls decided that she wouldn’t hang up the phone until she found the hiring manager. I finally get patched over to the hiring manager. The hiring manager then apologizes for his lengthy absence, and shoots me an e-mail saying I was not chosen. I’m not really upset about that, but the fact that the hiring manager and the individual that conducted the interview went on vacation at the same exact time. It wasn’t a professional way to handle business.
