  *EDIT* We were told that we’d get a quote the next couple of days so when Thursday rolled around, I called & the receptionist verified they had our email address correct. It’s now going into Wednesday the next week & still no estimate. We tried a few other Island companies to try to keep it local because we really do want to but ended up going off island with someone that called back within 24 hours & scheduled a new furnace and a/c for installation on Saturday. I understand completely about being short staffed; the entire world has been for 2 years. I also understand emergencies but from how the receptionist talked, it didn’t appear that was the case: it was business as usual. For your next customer, Please send an estimate in a timely manner or at least text to say it’s being worked on. If you don’t have time, that’s ok to say so we’re not left hanging. I wish you well. The technicians came out & told us what we suspected: that we could do a costly repair or replace our furnace. They were able to get in touch with their boss, who came out to see what we had so he could email us an estimate for a new unit, as ours was at the end of its life after 15 years. They were very nice & we hope to be working with them in the future, as they’ve done All the maintenance on our unit from the start. They also told us when we replace the furnace, we can also put in the motor for A/C, then the actual unit at another time, if needed. Very professional & appreciated.

  Awesome job! Furnace stopped working right after Christmas. Island heating was responsive and able to get to us quickly even though it was snowy and driving was not easy. Mike was able to diagnose the problem quickly, fix it and get heat back into our home! Mike was very professional and helpful explaining what the issue was. Will absolutely be using Island heating again! Best ever. Thanks Mike!

  First, Island Heating & Air Conditioning were there only service folks that could come out sooner than "in two weeks." When your house doesn't have heat you can't wait for weeks for a repair. So A+ to them for that. Secondly, the actual tech they sent out, Mike Brooks, was without a doubt the best service/repair tech I have ever dealt with. Polite, professional, not only on time but early, and straight to the problem. His knowledge level was astounding and he identified the issue within two minutes of opening the heater unit. My husband, who is an electrician, spent most of the day yesterday trying to isolate the problem without success. Mike's knowledge base on these units made all the difference in the world. Thirdly, Mike didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need and Island Heating's fee for the services rendered were surprisingly reasonable. This is the first time we have used Island Heating and Mike, but they have earned our business going forward. Thank you so much fellas, you were great!
