Yesterday I had my new  3 Ton Bryant split systems installed (Furnance and A/C ). The team showed up on time. They changed my thermostat to a Honeywell Smart thermostat and finished the indoor and outdoor units with no leaks.... I and my family really appreciate the fast service and the extra details that was taken during our new install. I will recommend this company.. Thank you Darvon and Crew!!!!!

Heating system gave out on Monday. Called Island Breeze on Tuesday and Lamar had someone come out Wednesday morning. Excellent service,  professional technicians, accommodating, and fair pricing.
The following day our igniter gave out and Island Breeze came by to fix on the same day. I’m not easily impressed but I am with the service I received from them. 5/5 highly recommend.

Seriously I have never encountered a better repairman. Do not hesitate hire these folks! We had some issues with our heat last year and the repairman came out at 6:30 pm and had the issue diagnosed and repaired in under 30 minutes. Our AC is acting up and I literally went back through my billing statements to find the name of this company. I should have left this review forever ago, calling them tonight for more help :o) Now with the review here I'll always be able to find Island Breeze HVAC again easily lol.

I came home from the hospital today (Friday) at 5pm to pick up some clothing as my daughter was born yesterday. I have to return to the hospital shortly and we are bringing her home tomorrow.

Our AC was not working so I called Island Breeze and mentioned my situation.

I would give them 10 stars if I can. Second time I have to call them for an emergency, but a different home. Just like the first time, they came out the same day, within hours, and got the AC up and running in no time. From arrival to departure was 19min, including diagnosis and replacing a part. U can’t find service like this anywhere these days. Efficient, prompt, polite, knowledgeable and fair rates. Look no further for your HVAC needs!!!!

My heater was malfunctioning due to an old motor. Edwin came in, diagnosed the problem quickly and professionally, and then spent days working on my rusty and dirty HVAC system to solve the problem. He checked for me whether my motor was under warranty and went out of his way to get parts quickly that were difficult to find due to covid supply chain issues. The new motor was expensive (a fair price), but it helped that I felt like I could trust Edwin and that the work he did had great quality and value. Thank you Island Breeze HVAC!

This company made my absolute day!  Being quarantined with no AC is a rough life and I called 3 other places and one of the companies even said I needed an entire new system (over $3,000!) well needless to say, I found Island Breeze HVAC and my final bill was only $299 and my air is flowing perfectly cool! Thanksgiving will come soon. During the Thanksgiving season, I would like to share my story here to show my thanks to Mr. Darvon.

Mr. Darvon installed a new AC and furnace system for me more than one year ago. His service was done very professionally, and I am very satisfied. And he is very nice.

In the evening on 10/30/2020 Friday, my water heater stopped working and I had no hot water. Next Saturday morning, I started calling plumbers and contractors. Unfortunately, no one answered my call, and nobody was available. I couldn't bear having no hot water in the cooling down season. I guessed there are some similarities between the water heater and furnace systems, so I called Mr. Darvon for help. Mr. Darvon immediately said, "yes, I will come to see if I can help as soon as possible." He came in the early afternoon, and he spent about one hour to find the issue and to make it work again. He also taught me how to fix it if the same issue happens again.

When I wanted to pay him, he told me that he just wanted to help his customer and not for business, so no fees. He also said to me that it happened he knew the issue. He wouldn't have been able to help if it had been a plumbing issue, so I didn't own him anything. I was moved very much! I don't know how to thank him, so I am sharing my story here to show my thanks.

Through my story, we can see Mr. Darvon is not only a professional person but also a very kind and honest person.

The company is very responsive, they pick up the phone right away, which is a rare thing these days. We used the services of the company twice and each time Darvon located the problem and fixed it. He is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Do not hesitate to use this company. Good value and fair pricing.

Having used another HVAC company for over 20 years and not being treated as a valuable customer, I decided it was time to move on.
I came across Island Breeze HVAC and started reading nothing but 5 stars reviews and how amazing Darvon is. Well all the reviews were spot on, Davon is absolutely fantastic!!! He showed up 30 minutes earlier, was polite and kind. He explained to me the issue with my AC and the part that needed to be replaced. He took his time and did a thorough job all while offering the best prices as well.

Darvon was excellent! Prompt, professional, incredibly nice and taught me how to do some basic maintenance to avoid future service calls. It's a Black-owned small business and they were VERY reasonably priced. Cannot recommend them enough and will be using them for furnace maintenance in the fall!

Had to switch contractors last minute and they were on site within 30 minutes. Lamar did a great job diagnosing and fixing the issue. Freon was also cheaper than other companies I've dealt with in the past. Will be my go to HVAC service from now on.

I called they had me make an assessment first, which I liked because they were trying to save me money. I had to have them come out anyway. Darvon  got to work right away. He assessed the problem and corrected it right away. Very nice gentleman. Explained as he went along and did not mind me looking over his shoulder.

Darvon was outstanding in his professional courtesy, thoroughness, and expertise. Our air conditioning went out tonight (Memorial Day weekend, of course!) and I called Island Breeze to see when I could make an appointment. To my surprise he was at our home within 15 minutes and we were up and running 30 minutes later. And honestly, the pricing was extremely reasonable for coming out at night on a holiday weekend. Seriously, Island Breeze will definitely be my go-to HVAC company! Thank you so much!

I‘ll start by saying I obtained 5 quotes for a complete replacement of my HVAC system. The first quote I got was from Island Breeze.  I started making calls on a Friday night, and they were the first to schedule.  Darvon came for a free estimate on Saturday. He was on time, he wore a respirator (COVID-19 times for you future readers), and he was honest.  He was the only person of the 5 quotes I got that told me my system didn’t really seem to need immediate replacing, and if I wanted to wait I might get up to 5 more years out of it.  The companies I contacted for the next 4 quotes disqualified themselves in my eyes for one reason or another.  So, I followed back up with Darvon for an install.  I work in healthcare and my schedule is nuts because of COVID. Darvon worked with my schedule for one brief follow up visit and for the deposit at almost 9 pm on a weeknight, and then he and Edwin came and installed my system on Saturday morning.  He told me he’d be here around 8 and expect it to take 6 hrs.  He was here by 8:05 and left by 1:45 with everything working properly.   They were not the cheapest quote I got, but after the impressions I got from the techs dispatched to me, or the research I did after doing some digging on the other companies owners, I decided to go with Island Breeze, and I’m happy I did.

Edwin was able to help us the same day we called! He was very thorough and understanding of our needs. The absolute best customer service was provided and our AC is finally working! We will certainly be calling this company for any services needed. I highly recommend them and appreciate all of their help.

The quality of service I received from this company is extraordinary. He was punctual, communicative, and most of all- honest. I was worried because I had a plumber come in just days before and charge me $600 for services I didn't need, but he came in gave me a straight answer and the right price. I couldn't be happier with the repairs I received from Island Breeze!

Absolutely terrific service!  I had a major issue with my refrigerant line, so I was in trouble.  I reached out to many HVAC companies and Island Breeze was the first to respond, just minutes after I reached out.  They were able to offer me service immediately the next morning and worked around my schedule.  Best of all, they provided me the complete quote prior to the service, including the service call, the repair, and the rate for the refrigerant.  There were no surprises with this company and it was clear that they have an objective and reasonable method of charging people.

Darvin reported to my house early the next morning, calling in advance to let me know he would be there.  He was professional, courteous, and extremely competent.  Darvin examined the entire system and provided a quick and thorough repair.  It was clear that he knew his stuff and used all his tools and know-how to diagnose and repair my issue.  He communicated with me throughout the service call, keeping me posted on his progress and any issues that arose.  In the end, he walked me through the entire system and explained the process of each component, then showed me the gauges and other measurements to show the performance.  Sure, this showed Darvin made the repair, but I never doubted that.  What it really showed was that Darvin cared about his customers and wanted us to understand what the system was doing so we could comprehend the reasons for the repair.  I learned so much during this service call.

I, like so many of you, have dealt with countless service contractors for my house.  I have never felt completely comfortable with any of them, knowing I was likely being taken advantage of.  Darvin was a breath of fresh air, restoring my confidence in service companies, providing me a lifelong go-to for all my HVAC needs, and really making me feel comfortable with a fair and honest repair after what could have been a costly break.

Darvon was fantastic.  I have a contract for AC maintenance with another company, so naturally, I called them for an estimate when one of my two AC units went out.  They gave me 3 options, all extremely expensive.  On a recommendation from my plumber I contacted Darvon from Island Breeze HVAC.  They are in Germantown and I’m in Washington D.C. 20015 so I had to convince him to give me an estimate.  He was highly recommended but a small company so I wanted to give him an opportunity.  His bid was significantly less than the lowest option elsewhere.  He was punctual, professional and pleasant to work with. I liked him so much, I’m dropping my maintenance contact and going with him,.  Couldn’t be more pleased.

We were extremely pleased with the service we received with Island Breeze through our American Home Warranty. We were told by another HVAC company to request Island Breeze since we had the home warranty and we were very impressed with both the office staff and also Mick the technician who fixed our heating.

My AC stopped blowing cold air. My place is at 85F...I called IB Monday morning before 0900, Darvon was as my place at 1045. It is now 1138, and my AC is blowing cold air again. I've called 2 other places and couldn't get service or even call back until the next day. I highly recommend IB. Darvon is a superstar. Professional and knowledgeable. Found the issue in less than 15min, found the root cause in less than 5min. And he didn't push for unnecessary repair. Where do you find honest and good service like this at this day and age? I would give them 10 stars if I can.

Darvon came very soon after our old A/C broke down after 20 years of usage (within an hour). He came prepared and was very enjoyable to talk with. He was able to diagnose and repair the issue within minutes. He took his time and did not rush things. Will definitely request him again for A/C work.

Very punctual, responsive and professional. This is the company you want to have in your corner when you have an HVAC problem. My air conditioning died when the indoor temperature was in the high 80s. It was a holiday weekend and I was worried I was not going to get help till Tuesday at the earliest. I called 2-10 Warranty and they asked me to call Island Breeze. Darvin arrived in less than an hour, pulled the system apart and diagnosed the problem as a blown motherboard.He had a brand new spare in his truck. A/C outside unit was too duty to evaporate completely; I found this service by Google review cause people gave him 5-star. Then I called and made appointment; he is really professional and cleaned up the duty unite, now it's working so good. Yes, he is the best one!!

Our air stopped working and we scheduled an appointment for one of Sears’ technicians to come out to our home. We had to wait a week only for Sears to send me an email on the day of my appointment AFTER I had already taken off work to tell me they’re canceling my appointment because the technician was sick!! Other than the fact that Darvin tried to take me to Jamaica as his "friend" to meet his 98 year-old grandma and be my unofficial tour guide and despite having a common-law marriage, he is great at his job.
