  Ben, Crawford, and Troy are excellent educators. They are deeply dedicated and passionate about providing a quality learning experience to every student who walks in the door. Their teaching method allows students with no prior knowledge of the refrigeration system to absorb and retain a complete understanding in a short amount of time, to a level that is years ahead of simply learning in the field. And on top of all that, they make class fun! Fellow students and I find ourselves wondering why more educational programs don’t mirror this teaching style. They provide equipment and components for students to work with to gain a thorough understanding of how they function, and how they impact the entire refrigeration system, both during normal operation and when an individual component fails. In the areas of brazing, refrigerant recovery, system charging, and service checks, a level of repetition is necessary for students to gain confidence in their abilities. This is not just allowed for, but required. Ensuring that students who leave with a certificate of completion, are ready to enter the field and hit the ground running. I highly recommend that anyone looking to enter the Hvac trade take this class first. It will put you years ahead of the “learn as I go” method.

  Actually getting to put your hands on running equipment was awesome! The instructors were super knowledgeable, and also great at teaching. I highly recommend this to any person looking to start a career in HVAC.

  The HVAC School was above and beyond all expectations I had coming in. Crawford has a multitude of experience and knowledge in the field, and it shows in his teaching. The approach they utilize is immensely helpful as they build a base and expand upon it in a tactfully coherent way. The gas furnace class starts from the essentials, and gives hands on examples to help solidify the knowledge in the student. Each step up has real life boards and furnaces for students to work on. As a tradesman, hands on learning seems to work better for the majority of us. This fact, along with detailed one on one work cements the HVAC School as a leader in the industry. Their passions shows as they stay after hours and offer ample opportunity for students to work through issues that arise. I would not only recommend the school, I will return in the future for their AC school in the spring. Ben and Crawford offer an affordable training program that truly has left me feeling prepared for my future endeavors in the field.
