The technician was professional, polite, and competent. They office was easy to work with and very friendly. The price was fair. By far the best experience I've ever had with an HVAC company - hands down.

Too funny. On 1/24/22, I made two appointments with HSC, one for a tech to install a Google Learning Thermostat on 1/27/22 and the other to do an assesesment for a boiler replacement on 1/31/22. So far so good. The scheduler called me an hour AFTER the 1/27 thermostat appointment time to tell me the tech needed to reschedule. Fine, we move it a day. The tech came out on 1/28/21 and did an okay job (he isntalled the thermostat but did not ensure the zone was heating properly....which it is not..so 50/50) and was on his way. I should note that he refused the tip I offered.....a principled position. On 1/31/22, an Arthur calls me an hour after my boiler assessment was supposed to start to tell me Marvin would not be coming today to do the assessment as I am outside HSC's service zone. I clarify with Arthur, that really, "because I'm outside HSC's zone, Marvin would not be coming over EVER....correct?"......Pause...."Uh, yes, that's correct." Okay, setting aside the fact that an HSC tech had been at my house on Friday to install the thermostat...hmmm.....it would have been nice if someone could have figured out a week earlier when I first called that I was outside HSC's service area and either NOT SCHEDULED THE APPT, or perhaps have called prior to the appointement. To his credit, Arthur agreed. Haven't got the bill for the thermostat install yet....that may make this a little less amusing...but I doubt it. For those who ARE in HSC's service area, you gotta be patient and work things through with HSC.....but they seem to be good folks. :-)

These guys are great if you want a brand new furnace that you have to manually reset every few hours. I think they sold me a bad unit but instead of replacing it they just bypassed all the safety mechanisms. $3500 and it doesn’t work. I have to manually reset it every time I notice the temp drop into the 50s.
