  A review for Donohue-Halverson, Plumbing, Heating andCooling – Ithaca, and the Navien Combi-Boiler. I had to replace a heating and indirect hot water system that was 25 years old. By recommendation from a heating professional in the area, I was steered to Aaron Vergason at Donahue-Halverson Plumbing, Heating and Cooling - Ithaca.  Arron promptly gave me a phone call to talk about my situation. He listened to my problems and captured all my requirements for my new system. Throughout the planning and installation process, Aaron was always prompt to answer my emails and telephone calls. Donohue-Halverson master plumber, Bryan, skillfully did the installation in a neat, workmanlike manner. – Very Professional!  The system is quite literally copper artwork!  The system is very maintainable with many state-of-the art isolation and drain-down valves, expansion tanks, filters, and every useful accessory.  It’s all exactly what I asked for. The Navien NCB-H series Combi-Boiler is a dream!  Supplying both space-heating and domestic hot water, its operation has been flawless. For the Domestic Hot Water, I installed a “Hot Button” and recirculating system.  This allows me to have hot water at the shower and sinks in 2 seconds!  No more running gallons or water down the drain waiting for it to get hot. I can highly recommend the Donohue-Halverson team for excellent quality design and installation of your heating or cooling system.  Their pricing was fair and competitive and I feel I got outstanding value for my dollars spent.  Call Aaron at Donohue-Halverson.

  This is far the most unprofessional, rude, lack of customer service experience I have ever experience in my life. And I have been in the hospitality industry for about 10 years. The receptionist at Donahue plumbing was literally the rudest and unprofessional receptionist I have ever encountered in my life. Even someone without any knowledge of hospitality industry would give a better costumer service and would be more professional than her. I’m deeply deeply appalled by how she spoke with me and also I’m just sad that a company like this exist in Ithaca, NY. I will never in my life go to this place or even recommend it to someone. They really really need to work on their professionalism before they work plumbing.

  We called Donahue Halverson in to install a new hot water heater for us, as well as to patch up a leak. They were on time, professional, very friendly, and they did a great job. I'll definitely be calling them next time I have any kind of plumbing need.
