  First off, Spencer at this store is a crook. I brought my car in to have a master cylinder checked, as I had little brake pressure. They told me that there was no leakage of brake fluid anywhere but that I needed brake pads and rotors all the way around. They did the brakes and did an additional $71.00 brake flush. When I picked up the car, I was told that I now had brake pressure, which was untrue. So I took the car to a different Firestone to have it looked at and they told me that my master cylinder was leaking and needed to be replaced. So that $71.00 brake flush done a week prior was a total waste, since a flush is necessary when replacing a master cylinder. I called Spencer about why he did a brake flush prior to my needing a new master cylinder and he told me that; ‘we don’t just throw parts at things’, hence their claim that the master cylinder showed no signs of needing to be replaced. Fact is, when they kept replenishing break fluid to the master cylinder while they did a break flush, they would have noticed that the master cylinder was leaking. So they lied, or they’re incompetent, or possibly both. Spencer of course refused to deduct the charge. My advice, find a better Firestone.

  Went initially to have them fixed a botched balancing job from an online tire store. They did GREAT. I really thought I had my Cincy area tire guys. Took another vehicle in a week later for new tires. They put them on and again balanced them perfectly. They had asked if I wanted a $100 alignment and I decided not to do it because the tires were going to outlast the vehicle even with a little uneven wear. When I picked up the car, the steering wheel that had been in the proper position was at about 10:00 position off center when tires were pointed straight ahead. It was perfectly positioned before they changed the tires. I have replaced at least a dozen sets of tires so far in life and truly do not believe this steering wheel misalignment just happened. My belief is that it was intentional to force me to pay for an alignment. If I am right, then this is a horribly unethical business. Make your own decision, but beware.
