  Im disappointed. Not only was the plumber late. he was gone within 15 minutes of showing up without even addressing the issue. saying that he "couldn't do anything" he didn't give us options what we could do or if we should go to another outfit. He ran a snake didn't say anything to anybody But my grandfather which has the early onset of dementia and didn't have a clue what the plumber said. I'm the one that called and let him in. he left the door open my cat got out I have children as well due the carlessness of the technician was highly disappointing. He also spreaded mud all over the our freshly painted bathroom walls. This is the outfit my grandparents have being going to throughout the years, so we wanted to stick with them for all the hvac and plumbing care of our household needs. I called to complain especially being charged 200 for basically nothing. Called about the said situation and the management showed signs of not caring and didnt apologize for the fact his technician let my door open in the winter and left my cat out causing our family more distress. I also asked them nicely what could be done and they said that was a good question. And informed me if they would call me back which they never did. Shocked at the professionalism of this place.Unfortunately we will not be continuing service with them. We had to find another outfit they did more and found a solution to our problem which was water backing into our basement.

  I am sorry to hear you were not satisfied with our service. According to our phone records, we responded to your emergency service within a very reasonable time. We do not typically give specific appointment times but instead time frames so that we can devote appropriate attention to each customer. Our technician attempted for over an hour to open the drains, attempting to go down multiple locations. Unfortunately, he was unable to get it open because no one in your home could tell him exactly where the drains went out and since the lines are in concrete, it is very hard to trace. He was very much aware of the children playing in the basement with him, and since he has young children himself, he was very diligent about keeping the door closed; he was not made aware that there was a cat nor did he even know one was there. He explained in detail the problems he encountered to the home owner, completely unaware that he had dementia. Upon calling, you did not specify that your grandfather was incapable of understanding; we have worked for him for over 20 years with no issues and have always had a good relationship with him. We were unaware that this was no longer possible. The technician said he could not find you but did speak to another gentleman in the house about the situation as well. As far as the charge, we feel it is completely reasonable for 2 hours of service. We do include travel charges which is exactly as we have always charged for services. You did call in and talked to management; he explained to you that without knowing where the drain fields were located, it was very hard to determine where the lines go. His understanding of the situation was that he explained that to you, you were going to try to find out the information we needed, possibly checking if the neighbor might know and then you were supposed to call us back once you obtained that information. We were waiting for your call back to us.

  Espenshades came to our rescue yet again! Today it was repair of our furnace, which we found had failed late last night. Yesterday morning was locating and fixing a leak from the kitchen sink. At our previous house, Espenshades has repaired toilets, sinks, pipes, and corrected issues with our sewage system. We've relied on Espenshades for years to help with all our plumbing and HVAC needs. We've always encountered professionalism, honest work, friendliness, and exceptional value. I can not find one negative thing to say about the business, and I continually recommend Espenshades to friends, family, and neighbors. HIGHLY Recommend!

  When I woke up this morning, I had no water. When my brother walked outside with me, I could hear what sounded like waterfall underneath my home! I was freaking out at how many thousands of dollars this might cost mw to get it fixed. Thank goodness my brother was able to shut off the water. A neighbor suggested I call “Espenshade’s,” and I am so grateful for that recommendation! Jamie answered the phone at the office, and she was so very patient and understanding. Steven arrived in no time, replaced a broken part, and handed me a very reasonable bill which I could easily pay on-the-spot. All done in less than an hour’s time. I would definitely call this company again (although I hope I never need to!), and I would highly recommend. THANK YOU for saving me, Espenshade’s!!!
