    Aaron has visited us twice for repair of worn out gas valves and a gas fireplace. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He came out very quickly both times, knew just what was needed and completed it in a timely manner. He was friendly, courteous and highly professional. We would happily recommend him to others. If we need help in the future we will call Envirocare first.

    I have used O’Malias for gas fireplace repair for years and was pleased with them. They discontinued gas fireplace repair and recommended envirocare. I called them and 10 days later Aaron came and cleaned & repaired my two fireplaces. He was here 6 hrs and charged 1600.00 dollars. One of the fireplaces worked for one day but then we could not get it to work. He came out and had diffivulty but was able to re-light it. It only worked once and went out again. I re-scheduled a service call. He gave me a 6 hr. Window of time of arrival which I find inappropriate. He arrived at 4:30 but sat in driveway for 15 min. Before coming in. He struggled to find out what was wrong and said I needed to replace pilot and valve. He wanted 500.00 to order parts. I asked him if he was certain that this would fix the problem. He said he could not guarantee s working fireplace. The cost would be 1500.00 plus labor. I told him I would probably get a 2nd opinion since he was not sure He insisted he could not assure me a working fireplace?. He went back to his truck and it took 30 min. to write up invoice. The cost was 380.00. He said he charges from time he leaves previous job until he leaves my house. So 40 minutes in the truck with invoice and whatever he was doing before he came in I paid for? Also on the first visit it was during Covid surge. He was unvaccinated and did not wear a mask and argued with me that the vaccine snd masks were not effective. The only reason I used him after first visit was because of warranty. I found Aaron to be unprofessional and unsure of his skills. I will not use him again. In response to your reply your info is incorrect. My husband attempted to light the pilot but did not take fireplace apart & certainly did not use a match. Yes a hornets nest was removed but that did not fix anything… it still did not work. Aaron knows that I was unhappy with the service & price. Idid not know that I should have called the office. I just found Aaron unsure and slow and ran up bill with wasted time. I rarely give bad reviews but was very upset with my experience with your worker.

    Mrs Tuckman, My name is Rachel and I am the office manager here at EnviroCare. I have read your review and went over your file from the services provided to you in December 2021. First, let me say I am sorry that you are dissatisfied with the end results of one of your fireplace repairs. I am glad the other fireplace repaired by Aaron has worked flawlessly for you since his initial visit to your home. According to our records and recorded phone calls it appears you have never called into our office with a complaint or concern about our service to the fireplace you are in reference to and this is the first time that I have heard anything regarding this matter? The only notes I find is from my technician that after the initial repair was made to your fireplace and the removal of an active hornets nest that was blocking combustion air, he found that someone had opened up the sealed combustion chamber of your DV fireplace and left it in disarray with debris from match sticks left behind and that you admitted that your husband attempted to work on the fireplace instead of calling us and that he didn't know what he was doing. This would void any service warranty provided by EnviroCare. Aaron has an EXCELLENT service record with 30 years experience in the field.     Envirocare Heating & Cooling has been one of the most professional, punctual, well mannered, knowledgeable companies we have ever used. Aaron gave us a time frame window of when he would be arriving, which we found very professional and useful as we could plan our day around that time. When he arrived, he almost instantly knew the problem and was very transparent as to what it would take to fix it. Of course, he did tell us that things could change upon diving deeper into the repair, and wanted us to be aware of that. Any other company that we have ever used has been nothing but a bunch of crooks who lied their way around the work and knew NOTHING about what they were doing. If you want cheap, half a—ed jobs: go elsewhere. Rest assured, you will be calling Envirocare to fix your problems in the end when the job is done poorly. The old saying “you get what you pay for” is absolutely true in this situation, and Aaron is most definitely worth every penny of his time!! When hiring him you will be getting someone who knows what they are doing, is extremely kind, personable, and will be 100% straight up with you as to what needs to be done to fix your problems in the most efficient ways. We will always use Envirocare!!!
