Let me start by saying I have used CooperCarlson for years. Last fall I had a problem with my furnace and called for a service tech to check it out. It turned out to be a minor problem and the guy fixed it in short order. While he was there he gave me a sales pitch on a program where they would check and service my furnace every fall and my central air every spring at a greatly reduced labor cost, and would only charge for parts if needed. It sounded good so I signed up. I asked if he was going to do the furnace inspection while he was there. He said no, he was just doing service calls that day, and that the office would schedule my inspection for a later time. We'll fall turned to winter and nobody showed up. Finally I think it was in January I called to see why the tech hadn't shown up. The lady seemed a little confused by my question. "Our tech has already been there," she said. I had to explain that he had been there on a service call, not a scheduled inspection. We went back and forth for several minutes and I'm still not sure she fully understood what I was trying to explain. In any case I got across to her that I had paid for an annual inspection and I expected a technician to show up to do so. Well, a day or two later the tech showed up and got the job done. ALL WAS GOOD! Now springtime rolls around. It got to be late May and once again I'm waiting for CC to call me make an appointment to inspect/service my central air conditioner. Once again I call and ask the lady if THEY schedule such inspections with the customer, or if It's the CUSTOMER'S responsibility to call them. I didn't get a direct answer, but she did schedule my inspection for a later date between 2pm and 4pm. She said the tech would call me that day to give me a specific time he would arrive. On the day in question I waited until about 3:40 and decided to call CC because I hadn't heard from the tech. The lady said let me check and call you back.a little while later she called back an d immediately tried to put me on the defensive by stating in an imperious voice that my window for the tech's arrival didn't expire until 5pm. This enraged me. I said "Look sweetheart, my window was2pm to 4pm" She said, again in her imperious voice, "MY NAME'S NOT SWEETHEART" and that's when I hung up in total disgust wit Cooper Carlson.

I called Cooper Carlson hearing and air yesterday (Thursday) and asked them for an appointment to get my central air fixed. And I'm so glad I did!! From first contact the woman that answered the phone was kind, professional and made it seem as if she was very happy to help. She quickly scheduled a time for 8 am the very next day. The repairman arrived right on time and was just as kind and professional. As I was holding a flashlight for John the technician, I told him how excited I was to be getting it fixed due too my daughters asma. The part needed was in their Elkhart Indiana location. About 35 miles from me. I believe that because of my daughters condition, John drove there himself instead of having it sent so that it could be fixed right away. THAT IS HOW YOU HANDLE CUSTOMERS!! And that is how you keep customers! Great job Cooper Carlson!! I'd give more than five stars if it were an option!!

Excellent service, and a fair price. The repairman was noligable and upfront, and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend them for all your Hvac needs.
