Was charged $99 to tell me I needed a new thermostat which they wanted to charge me $380.00 for. The most expensive one at Lowes is $250. Then they charged me 2 times on my card. Do not recommend.

Diane, please call Arctic Air at the office on Monday (843-821-0937). I am not seeing a double charge on our merchant report, and I want to assure you that, if so, we would refund that extra payment. The $99 is a diagnostic fee, and then we give you an estimate for repairs that include labor, parts and taxes. Anyone is welcome to travel to Lowes or Home Depot, pick up whatever thermostat that meets their needs, travel back home and wire it up. Our thermostats are PRO models made by Honeywell and include a 5 year warranty. Lowes or Home Depot may carry similar models but do not carry the same warranties that the PRO models do. Please feel free to call us at your convenience. We do not operate our business to make people upset. We are here to provide solutions for customer’s HVAC problems, and to take care of our customers, friends and families. I am looking forward to resolving this for you. ~Michael

Our ice cream freezer box went down, ice cream completely melted. Quick response and excellent service. Day after service, we are at -Minus 8 degrees! Arctic Air services all of our reach in and walk in refrigerators and freezers AND our Ice Machines!
