Brian cleaned our ducts and vents this week and we were very impressed with his level of service and professionalism.  We recently had tile replaced and popcorn ceilings scraped.  Brian first took the time to explain the procedures then efficiently executed them.  He removed shoes upon entering and used heavy drop cloths over carpeted stairs.  When finished, he restarted our furnace, explained his findings and any recommendations for the future.  We highly recommend Brian and Americlean services.

Colton was so pleasant to work with. He came out to clean the ducts for my dryer. When he got here he told me how quick the process would be and it was quick! He assured me there were not any blockages or anything to worry about and now I have ease of mind when doing laundry. Brian did excellent job of cleaning the ducts and answering all the questions we had. Very please with his service. We had also requested for furnace cleaning. He did use his power equipment to clean the drum but the result was not to our satisfaction. The picture attached shows substance even after the service was completed. I wish Americlean would take out the drum and clean it up or had better equipment to clean the drum properly.

I called on Monday to get my carpets shampooed and got them done Thursday of the same week!!! The nice person on the phone was pleasant and helpful and when she quoted me a price that was the price I paid. Americlean did 2 jobs for us yesterday. Cleaning furnace ducts and cleaning furniture. Excellent company & a very satisfying experience.

Colton spent about 4 hours on duct cleaning!  Mitchell cleaned our white sofa and removed all stains from 6 years of pets and daily life.

We got our ducts and vents cleaned today.  Brian arrived on time (even a little early) and was responsive and efficient with the cleaning. We've had problems with our dryer lately, not completing a full dry after a cycle. Since we're in a condo, it's really hard for us to get to the outside dryer duct, so we called Americlean to help. My interactions with Casey by phone and email were prompt and friendly. We had or furnace and ducts cleaned out today by Andy. He was GREAT! He was scheduled at 8 and knocked on the door about 7:55! In working with other contractors/business noone is ever on time so I really appreciated his promptness. Andy came in and explained the process and walked through the house with us. UPDATE: *the next day the manager called me to fix the mistake made in scheduling and not having proper equipment. Was able to get me scheduled a day later during after hours and gave a discounted price. Im glad they made it right, because I have used them multiple times in the past for vents and carpet cleaning and had no issues and great service.. *
Made an appointment for dryer vent cleaning 3.5 weeks out due to they only schedule this service from 3:30-4:00 and I work until 3:30. When I made the appointment I asked them to make q note it is a 3rd floor condo and the vent is not accessible from the ground and that they had cleaned the vent a few years prior so it should be on file. The tech showed up, came upstairs and took one look at my dryer and said the office would have to call me and reschedule my appointment because the vacuum hose he brought wasn't long enough and hadn't brought a portable vacuum. I called the office and asked how this happened when I reiterated to the employee that made the appointment the condos location and it not being accessible from the ground. They responded accidents happen and said there next availability was in a week and half.  I decided to go with another company that had better reviews and charged less.

Bought a home that smokers lived in. Called a place in Kalona but they were no longer doing duct work cleaning, then called a local lumberyard in another town. Both places referred me to Americlean out of Ceder Rapids, both places said they heard good things about Americlean. Hands down the best most reliable service out there. I originally contacted Service Master when our store had a water main that broke, after waiting for over an hour for them to come down and evaluate the damage no one showed up. Extremely happy with my air duct cleaning and my car upholstery! My daughter even commented on how much better she can breathe in our home. My car is older, but has a lot of life left so having the carpet and upholstery cleaned by the pros at Americlean was perfect for me.

I got a call just now from a business that delivered my furniture, they got my rug dirty and called these people to clean my entryway. They explained to me that they are being billed for a cleaner showing up and doing no work. I work at the university, so naturally, I wasn't home when they arrived. After work I found a bill at my door. I do understand people's time as valuable, I worked for a training company in Spain before I came here, but I doubt a few minutes of waiting is worth angering your client. The furniture delivery guys waited for 90 minutes for me to get done with work three weeks ago to make my delivery, and they refrained from charging me even a penny. They even said that carpet cleaning services would be paid for for up to 120$ for just a few spots on the rug. The furniture store apologized to me and issued me a check for 120$. The manager was very upset, and this wasted a great deal of time for all of us. I hope other businesses I work with here are not so callous, but so far I do not have a good impression. Cheers.

I had Americlean of Iowa City do a service call to one of our customers (we sell furniture) after we tracked some mud on the rug. Customer was not there and they charged us a minimum service fee of 75$ (understandable). What is not understandable is the fact that they left the bill for the customer after I told them to bill our business repeatedly. Imagine being a customer, at first elated that a company would clean your carpets for you, but then being left with a bill with a still dirty rug. Unprofessional. Our business and affiliates will make every effort to not work with this organization in the future.

I highly recommend that you DONT use this company.  i scheduled a clean and when they arrived contractors weren't done so THEY suggested i wait to have clean done later.  Then they showed up unannounced last week and charged me $105 for NOTHING.  I was sick when they came, i didn't have a appointment as my construction was still in progress.  Thieves!!  Scam beyond belief.  I offered to pay for their gas the first time and reschedule when my job was done but they insisted i pay the $105 charge for fuel??? REALLY????  Don't use these people!!!

I had an awful experience dealing with this company. We were given a quote on how much it would take to get our house cleaned and when the cleaner, Mike, came to the house the first comment he made was, “Wow this place is like a prison cell, it wont take me long at all.” Then went on to tell us that we had to pay an extra 60 dollars more because he considered our living room to be a living room and dining room just because we had a small table in the corner. He went on to say, “I can take cash or check, but cash would be better so we can just keep it under the table.” I was outraged by that comment. I knew he was just trying to rip me off. He refused to start any work until I gave him the money so I wrote a check out to him and spend the next hour on the phone getting bounced from person to person trying to handle this problem. I finally got the person who was in charge of the Iowa City area and she basically told me I lied as well that I must have told their representatives incorrect information. She then went on to contradict what her cleaner said and told me, “We go by the size of the rooms, not based on what you have in them.” So at that point I told her what the cleaner said and she continued to defend him. I was fed up trying to deal with her, she was acting like a child so I just threatened to call the better business bureau to see what they thought of this information and she finally caved and said, “Well I guess I am just going to need to be out those 60 dollars then.”  After she agreed not to charge us the extra money, the cleaner went on to tell us that we did not tell them that we had carpeted steps (which we did forget to tell them that) and I said I would be willing to pay extra to get those taken care of since I did not specify that we had them. He refused and said he didn’t have to do anything that wasn’t on the work order.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They were nothing but a headache and acted like children. This took place during weekend move out in Iowa City so they knew we had to get our carpets cleaned since it was a rental and that our hands were bound. They will give you a price then try to rip you off at the door since they know it would be hell to find another place to clean it that same weekend.

If I could rate this company 10 stars I would!! I would HIGHLY recommend Americlean for residential carpet cleaning and other services. They are by far the best at what they do within the Cedar Rapids area!

I had the opportunity to work with this company during a communications disruption back during the big storm. They were so responsive and precise in getting us what we needed to assist, that the process could not have gone more smoothly or quickly for both sides. Very professional.

We have had work done at our home and business and carpet cleaning done on our house boat from this company and they do a wonderful job for a fair price. Their employees are very trustworthy and friendly.

Was very disappointed with the cleaning. We went to review it and saw was still stained and dirty. Looked like technician just pulled dirt around room. Was putting house up for sale. Very upset. Called asked to talk to manager person who answered phone said she could take my complaint.  I told her not acceptible wanted them to go back still looked dirty and stained. She said they would not go back. Technician coved his crappy work by putting on receipt could not get all dirt and stains out. Which I never signed. Would not give any discount We had to call Stanley Cleaners who came over for another $200 and cleaned and neuterized and said they would have been embarrassed to leave the carpet the way Americlean did !  No pride in work and definitely did not back up their work. Looked great when 2nd cleaner left. ! Had to pay twice !! Should only have called Stanley Cleaners 1st never call Americlean. Would not even back up their company or quality of work. Only the techniction !

Ducts cleaned today by Nick.  Exceptional service, courtesy, communication.  He went extra mile and explained everything.  Will go with Americlean next time
