  We contracted with Colony for a new bathroom installation in our basement. We installed a stool, shower and sink. We were given an estimate for parts/labor as well as fixtures from Plumb Supply which was reasonable. While the plumber was installing water lines and drain pipes, we asked if he could move one existing drain pipe that went across the ceiling of the soon to be new bathroom, without hesitation, he was able to move it so that we could have a nicely finished ceiling. We have been incredibly pleased with the level of service, professionalism and attention to detail and would highly recommend them.

  Our furnace quit working in the dead of January and needed to be completely replaced. Aside from it being January in Iowa, we also have children and were concerned about keeping them warm and safe (as well as our concern about pipes freezing). We initially got an estimate from another company, but, the way our basement had been finished, we would've needed to tear out walls before they would replace the furnace. On the referral from a friend, we got Colony to come out and not only could they work within the tricky space we had (no need to tear out walls!), but they were substantially more reasonable in pricing than the other company and could get us a new furnace quickly. They were so professional and we are so so grateful that they were able to help us. We will be using them going forward for all our heating and cooling needs and will recommend them to everyone we know.

  The service person called 10-20 minutes prior to his arrival. He was very professional and clean and he promptly went to work to clean our dryer vent. He was polite and cleaned up after himself. Definitely worth the money and we will use Colony again for any issues in the future.
