We have used Ambassador several times in the past few years for replacement and installation of malfunctioning parts related to our furnace and air conditioning unit. Recently they provided us free plumbing advice as well to resolve a leak in our bathroom over the phone. They have always been friendly, prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend , and have become the first call we make whenever we have an HVAC or plumbing issue.

They over charge ALOT and that's why will never gives an estimate. They charge hourly which is $98.00 (not bad) but a job that can be done with in an hour will take 5 hours. Technician was on phone for an hour to order for the part, Took 1.5 hours to get the part, 30 mins again on phone to get the itemized billing (which I did not requested), they just want to increase the bill amount. They charge a 40% profit on the parts on top of hourly rate of technician plus $ 60 trip charge. I paid more than $ 600 for a simple pipe connector change. Go to other companies that gives a full estimate for the job. Save your money and don't go to them.
Response from the owner
When call was schedule for service we gave the customer our rates. We have a $60 trip charge and $98 per hour onsite plus parts or materials. We were not asked to give an estimate. The hours break down was 1 hour on site to speak with a code officer to make sure a part we needed to replace was available and proper change out for plumbing codes law because this pipe was for the sprinkler system in the house. We had an hour to go and pick up the part and the other time was onsite draining the sprinkler lines and making the repair - our parts markup is less that 40% - the owner agreed to take off two hours of labor to adjust his bill down. He told us he had two other estimates for around $400 - without seeing those we have no idea what they quoted him for - or whether they made sure the part was code compliant because of his sprinkler system or if they included time to drain the system to make the repair. It was not a simple pipe connector as he states - Even we adjusted his bill by 2 hours - he was not happy.
