  My power bill is over $700 a month at my house during the summer. Our AC units were over 15 years old and struggling. I called John Elder to give me a quote and he was super helpful explaining everything he was going to do for us while walking through the house, attic and basement. We discussed cold and hot areas of the house and how he would help correct them and WHY he was doing what he was doing. He has a great team of guys who are clean, show up on time and all from this area. They replaced all 3 of our heating and AC units and our power bill has dropped to -$100 a month and we have to keep the cooling to 76 because the house is almost too cold below that. Most people are not excited about getting new units but I feel like I just got a brand new home!! I went to Home Depot before calling John and received a quote from them (Cool Ray) and it was more than I paid for 2 units with John and his team. John is fair with his pricing and works to get the best units for your house or situation and is really looking out for you. If you are thinking about a new unit or need help with your old units please call John and his team. These guys are legit!! I would recommend him to my parents, neighbors, friends and colleagues!!

  I agree 100% with the last review. My wife and I bought a mid 70's house that had been flipped. Our hvac system never properly heated or cooled the upstairs. I had heard of ACR through a friend and they came highly recommended. John took a look and confirmed my suspicions that our system was not properly designed and riddled with leaks. John and Kit spent 2 days removing my old ducts and installing a new duct system. They did fantastic work. I don't imagine most people get that excited about spending money on duct work. But seeing how much pride John and his team took with this job, it was hard not to. It's been a few days now and it's made a WORLD of difference. I wish I took better before pictures. The after pictures speak for themselves. I highly recommend ACR Heating & Air.

  John and the entire ACR team are a first class operation. We hired ACR to replace our main level HVAC system and they went above and beyond the service I was expecting. John's history is in mechanical engineering so he knows his stuff and takes pride in doing the job the right way instead of the easy way. We appreciate the service, honesty and affordable price they offered on our new Trane system. I highly recommend ACR for any HVAC work, from maintenance to full system replacement.
