  Quality Oil Customers with Oil Furnace. Think twice upon letting Webb do this service. They charge 160 $ for changing oil and filter , a nozzle , and a large particle filter. They WILL NOT include a new strainer ( just say they clean it ) . They WILL NOT vacuum out your soot build up. They refer you to a air duct cleaning service company. And, they will not clean your furnace, or perform any diagnostic tests for draft , damper and CO2 testing if it the soot build up is too much. At least my tech Chris would not. No complete oil furnace service should come without these elements. I am sure Webb is good in other areas but if you have a oil furnace skip Webb. Hope this helps someone else not get ripped off. I was going to use Webb for insulation , a new furnace, and new air conditioner IN MY 50's home. I will go elsewhere.

We do feel that our maintenance visits for all equipment types, including oil furnaces, have great value for our customers. We performed a maintenance visit on your oil furnace in September 2019, shortly after we purchased Quality Oil’s HVAC department, and again this past week. We are sorry that you feel you did not receive the value you expected after your most recent maintenance visit, as we always aim to provide the best service possible to all of our valued customers. During a preventative maintenance service for an oil furnace, new strainers are not always necessary, but are changed as needed. At your request, our technician gave one to you during your maintenance visit. In regards to the soot buildup, we do not currently offer soot cleaning services due to the time and specialized equipment required to clean soot buildup properly. As most HVAC providers do, we recommended a company specializing in air duct cleaning for this particular need. Routine maintenance of your oil furnace, recommended to be once per heating season, helps prevents the buildup of soot. Soot build up can negatively affect the operation of your oil furnace, which is why we highly recommend having someone out to clean it. We were unable to complete an accurate adjustment of your oil furnace during the time of service, as it would require another adjustment after the soot was cleaned.   I called Webb today because my heat was not working. I called the company that installed they system (less than a year ago) and they couldn't come out until Thursday (today is Tuesday). It's 28 degrees outside! David was very nice and professional and explained everything that he was doing. The person that I spoke with to schedule the appointment was very nice as well. They saved the day!
