I hired Twin City to come fix my in-law's hvac. The technician was courteous and professional. He was able to diagnose the problem and repair it immediately. I am so thankful for their prompt and efficient service. I will always use Twin City.

Quick response to my call for help during very cold weather and the heat pump stopped working. Diagnosed and fixed the problem before I knew it all at a very affordable price. They likely have parts for older model systems, even discontinued units (they did for mine). The took the time to educate me on power disconnects, auxilliary heat, and such like, what I can do for myself in the way of maintenance. Very good people, here.

BEWARE!!!!!! I was shopping around for ductless heat pumps and had about 8 companies come and give me estimates. Twin City was a good price and seemed like a reputable company so we went with them. Shortly after signing the papers for the install things took a turn for the worst. Install was pushed back, and took way longer than quoted, charged more than agreed on for permits and Apparently the guys they had come out were very green and learning. After the salesman mentioned that it was a more advanced and challenging install since it was for 2 separate units. Also I was charged for materials that I was told were included in the price, they ran the condensation line for the water to drain right onto my deck in front of my sliding glass door, then a few days later the family and I were gone at the beach and came back to a big puddle on the INSIDE of the house. The back of the unit had been leaking water all day, I called and the tech that showed up was slurring his words and the 6 people including myself could tell he’d been drinking. He did find the cause of the leak, it was a mangled copper line that was just left there from the install. It looked like they had accidentally nicked it and just left it there. I have pictures and videos to post to back these claims up. The tech said that the line for the water to drain was done incorrectly and said I should contact the owner of the company. They finally came out and fixed it but a week later it was leaking on the floor again not just dripping either. The line was incorrect again! After multiple service calls and more money added on it’s finally working correctly. I’ll be using a different company for the annual service. Make sure to do a lot of homework, and I highly recommend using a different HVAC company even if it’s a little more $ because chances are your going to spend the same amount but with much more headaches. I hope this helps protect innocent customers who just want to provide heating/ac to be comfortable and not have to deal with the fiascos and escapades that can be disheartening when it comes to trusting companies to do right by their customers.
