Quoted me $98 then gave an estimate of $350 once they arrived. Technician said it was more than 10 feet (it wasn't) and when I asked how many feet it was he didn't know. So he's took out his tape measure and it miraculously came out to just over 10 feet. He also wanted to charge me extra to clear a blockage - not sure how ones would clean a dryer vent without including the removal of blockages. That's the entire point. Then he tried to charge me $78 to replace the plastic vent cover with a cheap cage and suggested my existing vent cover model would be hard to find. I just bought a replacement on Amazon for $9. No new drilling or caulking required and it will look a thousand times better. The time it took to negotiate all this and land on the price of $148, which was still significantly more than quoted. As a single female homeowner I have learned to recognize when I'm being taken advantage of, and this was one of the most blatant examples I've encountered.

I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME. If you are ok with wasting them delaying appointment times and flexible for any amount of time they use to do the job, then maybe. Very poor customer service. Lack of communication and coordination. The service might meet expectation, that is if you even get the service on time. Management leadership does not seem to take care of its schedule and communication very well. I had my cleaning scheduled, my new house is 2 hours round trip away from where I currently live which I already noted to the company. Nobody shows up at the appointment time and no notification that the service person is on the way, so I called the company. The representative kept on repeating to me that the technician is already there. The same conversation was repeated until someone showed up 30 minutes after the appointment time. The "technician" only counted how many vents are in the house, and mentioned that he does not do the vent cleaning today, that he only counts and estimates. Can I not do this myself? or can't he do this 1 minute before he starts cleaning? I didn't understand why he came. So I called the customer service again, and the representative then said that the technician had emergency and cancelled the appointment. That was 1.5 hours after the appointment time. Why did I even come to the new home today? The representative then said he is sorry and he will schedule me for the cleaning early morning 3 days later. Again the day came and nobody showed up at the appointment time, nor the notification of if somebody is even coming. I called the customer service number and nobody answers. I called the 2nd customer service number and that number is not answered as well. A moment after the appointment time, a text message arrived saying the technician will not be there because of the bad weather. Again cancellation after the appointment time. It was snowing a little bit but wasn't piling up and no snow was on the road. It was again waste of 2 hours drive and another day that I could spend on a better things, like other company who would coordinate this better. The weather forecast was already out even before the 2nd appointment was scheduled. If they have any chance of cancellation they should have let me know in advance. Every appointment the company sends a notification indicating they will demand $98 cancellation fee if not cancelled within 24 hours advance. It does not apply to the service provider? Where is the compensation of my time and money? **** The company does not answer the phone call nor sends apologies through any methods of communication, after not meeting the appointment. AGAIN, I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH SUCH EXPERIENCE.

Completely unprofessional! Called 15 mins into the arrival window to cancel on a Friday afternoon due to their equipment needing “service”. Told me they would call back in an hour and reschedule and never did. Would not recommend.
