  I had placed online orders for a few items and they called me and said that they didn't have 2 of the 3 items I ordered. I'll admit I was a little bummed about it but figured another store would have these items. I work basically across the street from this store so I figured after I got off work I would see if my toolbox I had ordered would fit in my SUV. As I go inside the saw I had ordered and was cancelled was on display so I wanted to see it up close and feel it out. Online it said that they had one available so I asked the nearest associates which were Dee and David. Both helped me look and we thought we had found 2 of them so David got on a lift to get one down. Upon closer inspection they were not the correct ones and he looked from the lift and found one just down from there. While David got the saw Dee helped me look for my final item that was cancelled. They were on display and she got it for me!! Needless to say I walked out a very happy customer! Both the items I purchased and the amazing employees who helped me made my day! Even Nicole in the self check out was a big help!! Thanks for making my day and getting my Christmas present I bought for myself!!

  When our oven broke right before Thanksgiving we purchased a $900 stove and scheduled delivery and installation for the day after Thanksgiving. When they arrived with the stove they announced that our gas connection was wrong and that we would have to get a plumber to change the fitting before it could be safely installed. I called the number they gave me for scheduling the plumber. After sitting on hold for over 30 minutes they told me that the plumber would email me the next Monday to schedule a time to do the work. So my new oven sat in the middle of my living room from Friday to Monday. That Monday I got an email from them saying that their "pro" couldn't do it. At that point my husband decided to do it himself. That is when he discovered that the gas fitting was just fine. The delivery guys had the wrong size hose. So he purchased the correct hose and installed it himself, almost a week after it was delivered. We still need to go get a refund for the fees we paid for hoses and installation. If I could give this store less than one star I would.

  The Olympia Home Depot is great. They pretty much always have what I need in stock, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and I can get in and out quickly. I wish Home Depot, in general, had a better selection of plants (compared to Lowes) but that's not the fault of this location. With 3 different Home Depot stores in the area, I will continue to buy from this location.
