I have never, ever enjoyed my time in a home improvement store more than the Hickory Home Depot! Elizabeth is force, Chuck is heads above the rest, Steve is a joy, Anna rocks…I could go on! Our kitchen is coming together beautifully, in no small thanks to the folks at our local home store!

Our cats are thrilled with the butcher block, and at finally getting in their sink!

Our floors are perfection.

Found everything I needed with ease. It's hard to walk through a home improvement store and not want to drop mad $$$$. Well played Home Depot, well played!

Store is organized. It's easy to find whatever you're looking for. We came to get supplies to turn our dogs grave into a flower bed. Especially enjoyed the garden section. It feels peaceful. Plants looked healthy, with a few minor exceptions. Theses nothing exceptional that makes me feel like it's a 5 star.

Online shopping is much easier at Home Depot. We have bought quality, beautiful products online and will continue to do so. Beware if you go in store,  associates at the Hickory location are hit and miss. Case in point,  today I went in for a gallon of paint. Guy at the counter would not make eye contact and ignored me completely when I said can I ask a question.  Second time in 6 months this has happened here, so I trotted over to Lowe's Home Improvement for my paint and was very nicely helped.

HD was the only place that had Solar Walkway lights with lithium batteries.  The majority of lights only include the older NiMH batteries which last only a couple of hours on winter nights when you need them the most.  The Lithium batteries continue working for years.  The others have to be replaced more often.  The lights are big, beautiful and bright once installed with mostly metal construction and beautiful water crystal glass.  They were well worth the price.
