I had a furnished room over the garage that was always very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Our central air system was just not doing the job up there. As I pondered what to do, I always imagined cutting a hole in the roof to hang a window unit up there. it seemed an impossible task. I asked Bill Farah of Terrace Heating and Air what to do. and he came out to the house and helped me solve the hot FROG and another big problem. They installed a mini-split system in the FROG, reclaiming about 820 square feet of livable space for us. We have had guests sleep up there since the installation and they have praised how cool the room is. I was also complaining about high humidity in the house. Bill solved that problem by installing a whole-home dehumidifier. We are very pleased with the dehumidifier. It is working even now in this "shoulder" season when our AC is not running all the time. We are very pleased with Terrace Heating and Air. They are competent and caring HVAC pros. I heartily recommend them.

Hands down Terrace Heating & Air is one the best local companies. From the initial phone call to set up an appointment, to having someone come out at the set appointment time, to follow up by the supervisor, these folks know how to provide the highest and most reliable customer service. The work crew that then installed my new air and heating system exhibited a phenomenal work ethic. They never sat still, finished up the job in no time, and left the workspace spotless. Their supervisor then came to check up to make sure the work was done correctly. The billing and paper work to receive a rebate was handled seamlessly. This is a local company Charleston should be proud of and support! Professionalism par excellence!
