Horrible. We used this company because our landlord said he’s been working with them for 20 years. When the a/c repair guy got there he looked around and said everything is fine and charged $225. We told him he didn’t do anything. Why should we pay him? He said the money was for him to go out and “check” what’s going on. He didn’t even diagnosed anything . He just walked around and stuck a machine to get a reading and he said the “a/c was fine”. My parents doesn’t know English so they paid him. I got to the shop after a couple of hours and the a/c still did not work. We called for him to come back and he did. This time he said he needs to clean the a/c coils and needed to find a place to connect his hose. I showed him where to connect the hose and he rinsed down the coils without removing any caging. Also keep in mind he rinsed it from the outside not the inside. He said to the reason why our shop wasn’t cooling down is because we need tint on our windows. I advised him the shop was always cold because it is a small shop. We’ve been there for years without having to get tint on our windows but now we do? Anyways he left with $225 and we were still with a broken a/c. He then tried to lie and say he cleaned the coils when he first got there. No he didn’t because the 2nd time he had to ask where he can connect his hose because he couldn’t find a place to connect on the outside. Anyways we got another a/c repair guy from another company and he fixed the a/c . ( I will try to find his business info and will put it on here for reference) The issue was that the capacitor failed so our condenser fan broke . Don’t recommend them at all. They’re not there to fix your issue they’re just here to scam you out of your money .

I live in Forney and I called into System Control INC just after 5:00pm when they had closed for the day and left a message, by 6:00pm I had received a call and set an appointment for 11:00am the next day. At 11:15am I get a call from Oscar the HVAC engineer who told me that he is just around the corner and will be with me shortly, 5 minutes later he arrived and immediately listened to what I had to say, which is not always normal nowadays. He checked out both of our HVAC units and furnaces and found the issues. He serviced both units and cleaned them, checked pressures etc and kept me informed of what he was doing and what he found. after 90 minutes he was finished and came in to check we were satisfied. We were more than satisfied especially when he presented the bill. our service for both units and to rectify faults came to $180. Well worth the money and I would highly recommend Oscar and System Control INC for any future HVAC work for us or our neighbors.

I’ve used System Control for quite a number of years and I’ve always been impressed by their honesty and hard work. They’re located a little outside of Dallas but they do work in Collin County as they’ve done work at my house in Plano. I try to be very thorough in researching companies I use. I’ve gone through quite a few A/C companies and there are other decent ones (at least based on my experience) in the area, but System Control is the best of all that I’ve used. I’ve dealt with Richard and Rickey and they are always very thorough, courteous and professionally. Most importantly, I’ve always felt I’ve got honest work for an honest price. I signed up with them for the twice-a-year checkup years ago. My lower A/C system had a leak and Richard had been telling me for the past couple of years I would need to replace it soon. I’m the type of person that buys quality and then get’s the max out of it. I had reached the point that the cost of freon was going up and it no longer made financial sense to keep the old one. Richard reviewed with me the options and knowing my preferences he pointed out the system that provided the best bang for the buck. I have a very high trust level of Richard but I felt spending this much I needed to do my due diligence and get another estimate. I used Google to find another A/C company, this one had a ton of reviews and they were almost all high. They were professional but they wanted to redo the whole duct system because they said it was too small despite the fact that home is 20+ years old and we’ve always felt very comfortable in our house in every room. They also wanted to sell me a higher-end system with an expensive digital controller, etc. I saw their total estimate and almost fell out of my chair. I did ask Richard about the higher end system and in his opinion it cost more without giving a lot more benefit. This is exactly the type of person/company I’m looking for, one that looks out for my best interest. In my opinion, this is a solid, hard-working, honest company. I just wish more of System Control’s had written reviews so I could have found them sooner. I believe this is because Richard and Rickey are busy doing the work instead of focusing on getting customers to write reviews.
