I have had Sunny Day Air Conditioning servicing my residence for the last five years while serving the military overseas. I always trusted this company and paid every invoice promptly. In May 2020, my wife began to have issues with one of the outside units and she contacted Sunny Day, subsequently they sent out their technician to service the unit and determined the circuit board needed to be replace in my Amana 5 ton unit (Paid $600.00) . Fast forward to December 2020, same issue with circuit board and now the replacement cost is projected to be ~$2500.00, and the owner "Paul' attempts a high pressure sales tactics on me to buy a new 5 ton compressor unit for $4500.00. Luckily, I decided to have a second opinion and contacted Progressive Air Systems, located in Port Richey, Fl. They sent out their technician and he run all the serial numbers on both of my air conditioner units and discovered both units were under full warranty to include all labor. Progressive Air technician (Mr. Freeman) replaced the faulty circuit board and completely serviced both systems at no charge to the customer. Apparently Sunny Day had charged the circuit board to my warranty and then charged me as the customer for the warranted parts. I have all the evidence to prove this company was fully aware of my warranty and still charged me an additional $600.00 for the circuit board they installed in May 2020. Please learn my financial mistakes and do not do business with this company. In response to the owners reply. Don't try to play the victim here, your company charged me in May 2020 to install a circuit board for $600.00 when my warranty cover all your companies parts and labor. Then in December you attempted to charge me ~$2400.00 to replace the same part and the hopes you can upscale me a new 5 ton compressor unit. Paul you never suggested another air conditioner service, I told you to have your technician to pack his tools and leave the property that I would get a second opinion from another company. Luckily Progressive Air did their due diligence and of my two units and discovered the full warranty of both units. They also provided me full documentation where your company use my warranty to obtain the parts you charged me in May as the customer for installing the circuit board. You are welcome to come to the house and discuss your actions and review all the invoices and warranty documentation I have as evidence. In addition, I made several attempts to contact you via your personal cell phone number you provided my family and left several voice messages with your office. However, you or the company never responded to my inquiries. Bottom line is your company charged my family when it wast fully compensated for all parts and. labor by the unit existing warranty. Please return my $600.00 that I promptly paid you for the circuit board installation. Remember this is not an attack by wolves, this is you profession and honesty is always the right course of action Today, 26 December 2020, James call me to discuss this review and he apologized for the situation and the miscommunication. I hold no ill feelings towards Sunny Day Air Conditioner and wish them further success in the future. Lastly, until this recent episode, this company has been very responsive to all my families needs and this is why I have increased my overall rating. Jerry H.

Techs James and Daulton came at 3 to fix our air conditioner. Three days in the high 90's in Florida was more than enough. We were given the bad news that we needed a new compressor and air handler, at a cost of $5500 which was not in our budget. However, we were not going to have another hot and miserable night, no matter what.!!!!!!! We figured out the financing and had everything worked out, and they swore to us they would get it installed today. Four hours later, after waiting for the hurricane-like weather to pass, they installed the indoor air handler with flashlights, as our power went off due to the storm. These two wonderful men went above and beyond our expectations by far. We are in the cool thanks to our Rheem Dream Team of James and Daulton. Would recommend Sunny Days Air, even on a rainy day. πππππ stars ++++

I called a few other company's to get a tune up done on my unit. No one was willing to do it after 5pm. I even offered to pay a more. Only because I don't get home until 445pm at best. Drive well over an hour each way. Everyone was "can't or we don't schedule work after 315pm". Then I called Sunny Day! They lady on the phone was wonderful! Told me we, " we will do whatever it takes to help you out"! That's customer service. I got a txt the morning of letting me know who my tech was going to be. Then I got a txt when he was on his way. Never had this before. All I can Say is John S. is among the best at his job! Wonderful personality, asked if any issues, asked permission before looking at anything & just an all around down to earth guy. No pressures or worries with him. I would give him 100 stars if I could. They have made me a customer for life! Thanks
