  Always take all of my forklift, grill, and hundred pound propane tanks at one time to be filled. Always prompt, courteous and helpful. Sometimes it's a bit pricey, but convenience costs.

  I moved to the Winterpock area from CT recently. I needed to refill my propane tank and the only available option in the Hull St. corridor is the tank swap option where you get a 1/2 filled tank. My two options were UIHaul to the East but who wants to go near Richmond while the militant wing of the Democratic party is active. To my West I discover Southern States for the first time. For anyone else that moved here from the North, think Agway stores. Products carried are similar to Agway but because we're in the South now everyone is pleasant to each other including the staff here.

  I hate this place now. They don't carry a good variety of things. Nor are they ever well stocked. But that didn't completely deter me from going here to pick up odds and ins they do have until Whoever the lady is that's always at the register now starting always being at the register...she seriously needs to go grab a pitch fork and shove up her you know what . bc thats the type of attitude she has. She acts like she hates her job and acts as if you are a nuisance and is just rude for no reason. I avoid even going here anymore and now just go to the tractor supply in powhatan. Which far exceeds this southern states. Also if you are someone who buys shavings...get them at tractor supply. They pack their bags tighter and will last you longer.
