Called this company looking to have my mother-in-laws campers water pipes coming from her water heater fixed, the man said sure text me your information and I’ll get to you tomorrow, we’ll after texting again and calling still nothing. Customer service is the back bone of a small business and in this case they are lacking customer service.

I believe that you should find out what company you really called so that you can remove this bad review, we never spoke to you, we dont do road calls anymore, havent since my husband passed away from covid so I am asking that you remove this review in memory of my beloved husband. Customer service was what we were known for and we take pride in every job we do. Just ask around Milton and see what response you get from people that knew David. This is a detrement to his memory because you did not speak to us so I am asking that you remove this post only because it was not us you spoke to. We are trying to honor my husband by keeping the same values we have had for 17 years. Maybe some businesses dont care about the reviews but we do so please find out who you really spoke to and post on their site. I am sorry you did not get a call back from whoever it was. Can you call me please at 850 626 7031. Also, There is another company out there called Southern RV I believe you might have spoken to them but I talked to my brother and he is the only one here other than me and he has not spoken to you. if you will call me at that number I will check my messages throughout the day and call you back or you can post your phone number here for me to call you. sorry but we can help you.I just spoke to the only other person at this company and he has not spoken tWe dont even give his cell phone number out we only use the 850 626 7031 number so if you called or texted a different number than that, it is not us. 'Southern Komfort' sure does speak for itself. We brought our 40ft toyhauler to get some water damage taken care of on one of our walls and to get some darco paper replaced underneath one of our slides. Not only was David (company owner) extremely personable and knowledgable he also entertained every concern and renovation questions/ideas we had and gave us great tips and suggestions for DIY projects. Very reasonably priced and absolutely flawless work, really exceeding all expectations!! Thank you Southern Komfort!

They are nice to talk to but never show up on time, does not return calls until he decides to and overcharges for materials. It was a month since he gave an estimate before he called back. Then, my husband tried calling back and left a message asking to please call back. Finally, I called from my phone and he answered. A different number worked. He stated he would come out that week and never did. I had to call again and let him know we had to leave out of town soon. My husband paid in cash to order materials because he could not order until he got the money. Come to find out, he ordered enough to do several campers and my husband paid for it. He did cut some off the price but is was no where near what the RV places charge. All in all, everything would have worked out if we were not waiting for months on him to come fix items. We decided to let him fix the things he bought materials for but not the stuff I found online. BEST decision ever. I don't even know what to say about ordering a whole roll of material on my husbands dime and charging us for all of it. We had 3 slide awning covers replaced as they could use it and they cut one TOO SHORT and PUT IT ON. He had his helper install the slide out seals as well. ( they have been fine so far) I am so glad I purchased a new awning and material from Amazon and not him! However, we had changed one of those on another unit in the past. Unfortunately, That is what we really needed done along with the seals. Live and learn. Check around on prices and make sure to nail him down on a work completion date. If you are booked and cannot get to people , be honest. Never order a whole roll of material and charge ONE PERSON for all of it when they need a fraction of it.

Let me first say that I normally do not respond to negative comments I think we've only had 1or 2 in 16 years and 1 of them was never even a Customer of ours..however in this case my husband's integrity and honesty was questioned so I need to set that straight. We have been in business of our own for 16 years and my Husband worked for a dealer for 18 years prior have, He has never been accused of cheating or lying or overcharging from anyone, we have actually always gotten the opposite response. One Customer several years ago wanted us to cheat the Insurance and we wouldn't so he put a long bad review on us, his Insurance Company almost cancelled him due to his demeanor. We go over and above to help our customers always. But... in this situation it was an honest misunderstanding. My husband did order a roll of vinyl material and gave me a price for it, he did not tell me that the Customer did not need the full roll until time to Bill it out, this price was adjusted and the Customer knows this, we called him and told him we were crediting him....and we did. Also the time they said they had to wait...This all happened back in January of this year when EVERY Company I know was having problems due to Covid AND we had a death in the family as well and that had an impact on our time line. I know some people don't care about that but we did the best we could. As far as the phones, we have an Office phone and my Husband's cell, the service on his phone is extremely bad out here so at times he doesn't even know anyone called. They were also aware that we were very busy and just trying to fit them in. They were dealing with us and calling other Companies and going on line to order parts so we were confused as to what we're were really supposed to do. The whole time we seemed to be in a bidding war. Every RV shop went up in price last year, we went up $10 we were then approached by other RV shops to raise the Labor rate again and we said no, that it's hard enough for people now. We are 10-$40 lower per hour than anyone that operates in a Shop.. If we wanted more money like that we would go up on our rate...We would never cheat anyone I am sorry that they think this, I am so upset about this, if they knew us really well they would know how awful seeing this post made us feel. Again, we are sorry that this simple human mistake caused us be perceived to everyone like uncaring people, this is NOT the case. My Husband didn't want me to reply however when his honesty and integrity are questioned, I can it be silent. I wish this Customer good luck in the future and hope that they can find somone that will satisfy their price and needs. God is all knowing and all seeing so we are okay with everything we did, we can hold our head up on this one.
