  I thoroughly agree with what everyone has written so far! I can't say enough great things about South End Heating and Air. I have been a huge fan of Eddie, Jason, and Josh and have followed them since we moved to NC in 2012. The communication is open, honest and frank, with no agendas except to fix the issue. I recently had a coil failure in my heat pump, and the unit was running constantly and blowing cold air. I had another company come out which had purchased the company that did the original install, and they told me that the part that was supposed to be covered under warranty was no longer available, and they recommended replacing the system which was not even ten years old. I called Eddie as he did the original install, he made a few phone calls, and quickly confirmed that the part was still available and he would get it on order. They completed the repair, and everything is working great. It is so quiet in my office from the system not running constantly. I found out later through my own investigation that the company that told me the part was not available did not carry my line, and therefore tried to sell me one of their systems. Nice! Needless to say they're no longer in my contacts. If you're having trouble with your HVAC, and you want an honest assessment, call South End Heating and Air. I highly recommend them.

  I will definitely keep South End as my HVAC maintenance/repair company. They are VERY professional, knowledgeable and educate well their customers about the job they do in your house. They are very personable and communicative, timely. I will also recommend them to my neighbors!

  Hands down the BEST HVAC company we have worked with. Our furnace was on it's last legs (after 26 years) and it was time for a new one. There was no pressure and great consultation and guidance from South End. They came only a few days later and installed a brand new furnace for us in a matter of hours. They emailed a reminder the night before to let us know they'd be here the following morning, and - other than letting us know they had arrived - we barely even knew they were here. They just got to work, removed the old furnace, and then got the new furnace and thermostat installed. It was truly effortless and so happy we found them! They are now our HVAC Maintenance providers and we wouldn't want to work with anyone else.
