So beyond frustrated!!! We had our new furnace/ac put in spring of 2020. As soon as it got warm enough to need the AC, it didn't work. We called Skips to come out and look at it and they had "no idea" what the issue could be but would do some research and get back to us. NOT A WORD! Its now almost 90 degrees in my home! We ended up calling a different company, they came our right away and figured out that everything was installed BACKWARDS!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! The other company fixed it and it started working right away. I called Skips just to let them know that their employees were hooking things up backwards so they can rectify any other homes that were installed incorrectly. The lady that answered literally acted like she could care less. Within a few weeks, I had Skips calling me telling me that we owed them more money from the original installation and for them coming out and doing NOTHING and never calling us back. Now it is a year later, 90 degrees in the house again (with a small baby btw) and the unit keeps freezing over and now just shows red. How the hell is this happening at 1 year into it being installed??? It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the employees installing it backwards and who the hell else knows what they messed up. Now we have to put out more money to have someone else come in and figure out the problems. Money that nobody has at this point in time after this pandemic. Awesome job guys! We will absolutely NEVER recommend you to anyone.

Needed an on demand water heater repaired. Talked to the office people on the phone, sent make, model, error code from manual...they said they could fix it. Three days later, repair guy supposed to be here at 1 pm, it's 2 pm. I check my voicemail, 2 messages from him, try to call him, no answer, call the office, she says I will find out. Get another voice mail from tech, oh, we don't work on that make, I can maybe help with gas supply from tank to unit but that's about it. Call office, she puts me on long hold, says he's can come out, but will have to call manufacturer tech support, maybe on hold for two hours+, all billable to us. I said no thanks, she agreed, said thank you sir, and hung up.

Had central heat and air installed paid just over $10,000 every vent in our house has a hole next to it where they drilled and just left the hole. The vent in my son's room is touching the fire alarm, when we first turned on the furnace it did not work they had to come back because it was installed wrong. The furnace is in the attic and now it leaks water ruining the ceiling in my kitchen.
