We had a water damage and called the service. These guys showed up immediately and brought everything we need. They put the fans to the wet carpet and floor so they can dry faster. The next day (a Saturday) Isaiah & Tanner came with more depth and detailed solutions. They looked into the ceiling and floors, cut the carpet and installed drying system to the ceiling. They were recommended to us by a friend, and we would also recommend them to anyone who needs help.

Jeremy and Leighton gave exceptional service.  They kept us informed and were quick and clean.  They answered all our questions which helped alleviate our stress with the process.  Definitely recommend!

Kristen and Rebecca always ensure our building is thoroughly cleaned and we are supplied with what we need each day. The are attentive to the needs of the employees in the building and show value in the devices they provide! Thank you for your progressive intentions!

Leighton came out right after the call was made by my property manager. He was very kind, family friendly, and professional. I could trust him in my home!

Had a shop fire at our house on 06/08/21 in North Albany.  Servpro showed up at our house the next morning, unsolicited by us.  Their representative was very convincing on all the reasons we should work with them for cleanup. Their biggest claim was to have worked with our insurance company (State Farm) hundreds of times and the inventory listing/pictures they would provide would just be seamless with our insurance company.  It would be easy, they told me.  They also told me the total cost would be about $600-$700 per 30 yard dumpster load and the only other charges would surround environmental issues, if any were found.  (None were found.). So I proceeded with them assuming it would take about 10 total dumpster loads and that would equate to a total clean up cost of $6000-$7000.  I even confirmed this with their representative several times and was never told anything different.  The cleanup process did not go very smoothly. They hire lots of young kids and for our clean up they had different supervisors on site practically every day.  On one of those days, the supervisor wasn’t told to inventory items as they did clean up and lots of our items went straight to the dump without having pictures taken and without being added to the inventory list being created for our insurance company.  There were lots of communication issues with them.  Fast forward through all the cleanup, and they submit their inventory listing to my insurance company. My insurance company rejected it because it wasn’t in a compatible format. My insurance company called the Servpro representative and again she sent the same listing in the only format she had it.  (Yet, remember they promised me the morning after the fire that this process would be seamless because they do this all the time). Eventually my insurance company told me they could not proceed with my claim until I redid the entire listing in a comparable format.  This took me nearly 2 months to complete.  Literally the day after I had submitted the final list to my insurance company, I received my first bill from Servpro. I was floored when it was nearly $17,000 - nearly 300% higher than the estimate.   The scope of work never changed and it was indeed 10 dumpster loads, but this company operates on charging the most possible based on what they know your insurance company will pay. It doesn’t matter what their estimate is, because they do not operate in good faith. I asked them to provide an itemized billing - and at a minimum they are charging over $40 an hour for those young kids.  For the supervisors, it is over $60 an hour.  I asked them to reduce their billing for all the extra work I had to do on the inventory listing and they refused. They keep telling me that since my insurance is comfortable with what they billed,  I should be too.  But let me tell you, I am not. Their business practices are unethical and they are ripping off the insurance companies, which ultimately comes back on us in the form of higher premiums.  I’ve asked the general manager, Nick McGinnis, to explain the differences between the final bill and the estimate, and he won’t.  All he keeps saying is that the insurance has paid me based on his invoices and he wants his money.  He is threatening to send my account to collections even though I literally received the first bill about 30 days ago.  This place is a joke. Never use them.  They bait and switch vulnerable folks who just suffered a fire, so they can take advantage of you and your insurance company.  Had they been honest with me up front about the total cost, I would have handled the cleanup on my own - and I’m sure they know that; that is why they have to lie.  Beware of these folks.  Better yet, don’t use them. There are way better options out there for cleanup services.

I would 10 out of 10 recommend this company and use them again  if ever needed.

Do not use this company if you want a company you can trust.  This company failed my household and has left us with more questions and concerns related to our personal belongings than answers.

To give any indication of how poorly mine and several other households property were handled,  the manager of our case was fired from the company and the issues we've faced have been nothing short of a disaster.  One of the team members let us know that not only ours, but 4 different households were having these issues.

There was no communication throughout this experience unless it was initiated by me, and even after the manager was fired we continued to have issues.  As we unpacked our things we found multiple personal items not belonging to me or my household- you can see this in the photo below.  On top of that, we are missing a large selection of coats and jackets with no answer to how we can get those items back.

I'd think twice before trusting your belongings, time, and money with this company.  If this happened to us it can and will happen to others.
