Although I was satisfied with the work the technician did, as a whole, I have been completely dissatisfied with Sears Home Services (SHS). SHS is understaffed and overworked, leading to appointments 1-2 months after the service is needed; individually, this may sound OK, but when you have one appointment after another due to an issue not being resolved, we are now talking of months upon months of delay - this is not due to supply chain issues, just simple staffing of qualified techs. SHS needs to hire more QUALIFIED techs so appointments can be made no later than 2 weeks, not 2 months; SHS needs to expedite return visits with the most senior techs when those return visits are for the third or fourth calls (prior to Lemon Clause pursued). My Kenmore Elite refrigerator stopped working in the middle of August, it is now the end of December and I still do not have a working/dependable refrigerator! This has not been a parts order issue; I've received all parts within a week of ordering correctly. This has purely been an issue of getting competent techs out in a timely basis. My refrigerator was not cooling in August, the technician missed 3 appointments and never showed up, now the they pushed the appointment until end of November, imagine your refrigerator broke in summer and they are not able to fix it in winter. I purchased their protection plan, guess it is just waste of time and money. so stay away from this business.
