Old condensate drip pan, galvanized steel, rusted up and clogged leaking water into the bottom tray of the refrigerator side. Bought a new drip pan, sprayed front, back, bottom and sides with Rustoleum metal primer and paint. Put 5-6 coats on over several days. Tech said this is a GE point of failure by design. Had this tray been made of plastic or aluminum, this failure point would never occur. He thinks we will not have this problem in the future with it being painted and sealed properly. 🤞🤞 I hope so…

They were quick to respond. 1st visit was great. The technician was professional. Found that a hose needed to be replaced. Ordered the part. They came out for the 2nd visit and a different technician put the part on. Forgot to put the bottom plate on. Sold me a warranty. The dishwasher didn’t leak anymore but it didn’t heat up. Called them back and he said it was my heat pump. After insisting it was not he said he fixed it. He didn’t charge anything. It washes a little better but the steam doesn’t work. I am cancelling my repair and I guess I will get another dishwasher even though I feel like the man just didn’t know what he was doing.

My dryer was successfully repaired on the second visit of the repair man. It took less than 10 minutes to install a part that was the problem. I only wish that these guys were better stocked in their vans. It took 2 more weeks of waiting before I was able to use my equipment again. I also wish that the telephone representatives were better able to speak English. A problem that is becoming far too evident with companies like SEARS.
