We needed the seal replaced on our front loading washing machine. We called and made the appointment. We knew exactly what was wrong and asked for the part to be ordered so when they could come out to inspect it, they would be able to make the repair. We were given an arrival time between 8am and 5pm. The tech arrives (no phone call, text or notification with arrival time) and informs us the seal needs to be replace. We reply knowing that is what we needed and asked them to go ahead and make the repair. However, they didn’t have the part with them. This was frustrating because we already knew the issue and tried to inform them of this so when they came out they just replace it. They said they could order the part and come back out but we would need to unstack the washing machine and dryer. This is not a feasible task for me. The tech was insistent that they could not move our machines. We decided to go with another company who could actually complete the job from start to finish. So, we still had to pay Sears $99 to inform us that we needed to replace the seal, which WE had already told them and that even if they did actually order the part this time that they wouldn’t be able to come back out for another 10 days. On top of that, they couldn’t even make the repair unless I was able to Unstack the machines. So, they actually wouldn’t be able to do the job. They couldn’t do the job from start to finish, told us what we already knew and collected $99. I will NOT be contacting them for any other repairs.

Technician was early (always appreciated), very friendly, and did a good job of explaining the problem. I appreciate his honesty in saying we are probably better off getting a new dishwasher rather than paying for a costly fix.

Bought tools off sears website, had them delivered to the store. These people PUT MY ORDER ON THE FLOOR. It has just gotten in 3 days before we went and got it. It took the tools 6 weeks to come in, and the PUT THEM ON YHE FLOOR. Luckily we got them before the sold, but I’m very very upset about it. Please don’t no have your online orders shipped here.
