At the moment, Sears repairs is near the bottom of my recommendations. I have a Samsung fridge bought from Sears which makes ice at a pathetic level. They sent a repair person out and I agreed to $500 as repair fee (!!). Next visit, repair person replaced ice maker with refurbished item. No change. Came out again, replaced with new item and told us to give it some time. After two weeks, still pathetic ice making, like eight cubes overnight. Called repair service, got non-English speaker from somewhere (???) who eventually hung up on me. Trying again. At this point, I just want my $500 back from non-repair and I'll buy a freestanding ice maker.

We had a great experience with our technician James. He communicated prior to arrival and did an excellent job explaining the issue we were having and offered solutions. It made not having a washer for an entire week a little more bearable! Thank you!

Just unreasonable pricing. They wanted $500 to replace my ice maker. I said no, just a few days later and nothing was wrong with the ice maker. It's been working fine. Terrible, just trying to make a dollar anyway they can. Terrible!
