The technician that came to our house was so very nice. I enjoyed visiting with him. But the cost that Sears quoted me to fix the LID on my washer (not the motor, not electrical components - which are fine) was $600. I can buy a new machine for not much more. So I said NO to the repair. It is not worth having anything repaired by Sears. Just go buy a new one and ditch the one you have.

Came on time and was polite. Was told he needed to order parts and would be back to install them. And he left. I did not get a quote for parts that needed to be ordered. Called 800 number and was told when parts came I would be given the option to have them installed. Been a month and nothing, but that’s ok because the person on phone told me the parts were over $500, but fridge is running fine without them! I don’t even think it needed the parts that were ordered.
