If I could give less than one star I would. Texted me several times saying they were coming and when. Then last text says appointment canceled and rescheduled. Then the tech showed up? He didn't wear a mask and proceeded to try and over charge ($600) me for a couple of parts that together both cost less than $100. I know this because I got a second opinion.

Repair man left before checking to see if the dishwasher worked properly. He heard and thought that it was spraying during a quick rinse cycle. I ran a cycle as soon as he left and called after 15 minutes of him leaving and he didn't have time to return I made a call to Sears and they were not sympathetic to the issue and scheduled out over another week. This issue had occurred for three weeks prior.

Horrible service. Started the process on January 19 and as of this posting, on February 3,our dishwasher is still not repaired. We have had 3 repairmen here, we have waited a total of 16 days so far for repairs to be completed that would get the machine running again and now I’ve called for service again because the last repairman who was here replaced parts, told us it should be good to go, never ran a cycle to make sure, and it sounds like a cement grinder and is getting no water. Now, I am waiting again until Feb. 8 for another serviceman to see what the problem is. If you are counting, that will be almost 3 weeks since my first contact with Sears service repair. A couple of quick observations regarding Sears and their service work. First, it is not Sears doing the work. It is contracted out to companies in Peoria and St. Louis. So, the oversight of quality control is out of their hands. Second, they are much better on the front end operations when you purchase an appliance in selling you on how important extended warranties are than they are on the back end where the actual rubber meets the road. That is, when you actually need them to do something for that money. So, my advice, and what I will do going forward is purchase my appliances from a local operation like Dick van Dyke and never purchase another appliance from Sears.
