  I cannot say enough good things about the technicians who came out to diagnose the issue with my appliance (both local guys), but trying to get Sears or any of their subsidiary service companies to respond to questions after the visit, is beyond maddening. Originally declining service because 1) they did not know when the part would be in and 2) I needed to visit with my spouse about whether or not she wanted to throw down that much cash on a repair, they (SEARS) then wanted to charge me an additional $50 to have the technicians come back to do the repair...despite me confirming with the technician that they would apply 100% of the service call fee if I changed my mind and decided to have the repair done within 30 days. Do yourself a favor and use ONLY LOCAL COMPANIES and let SEARS disappear. By the way, learn from my mistakes and go read the BBB reviews if you want to really see what consumers think of this "Service".

  I was taken back a bit by the price when a repair for a heat sensor that turns on the gas supply went out in my Kenmore oven. All you can do is shake your head when it's half or more that of the cost of a new oven. Technician was professional, had the part on his truck...I can now trust my oven to heat up when I need it too again.
