Had a stove when moved into apartment. So didn't need it, display was blinking so I called them to come change display. The cord to stove in apartment was a different kind, so I couldn't plug my other stove up. The 1st man to come said he'd change cords so I could see if the other stove would work after he came back & change display(it was blinking). Mind you it's $99 when they walk through door. So they charged me $99 for me to tell them the display is blinking, without plugging it up. Another man came back, changed plug & refused to change the plug so I could see if it works & then change back. ALMOST $400 to change a display that was $100. They charged almost $300, was here 10 minutes 1st time & 20 minutes next time & wouldn't put a plug on my stove to see if it'd work@&!!&& !!!! That is seriously nothing but sorry!! You definitely lost my buisness & I clean houses I have quiet alot of clients so I'll let them all know!! By the way, yall drive a van & have no cords in there??? BS Also they make you miss a whole day of work instead of giving you a time. So I missed pay which was just about as much as what I paid to have it fixed. So You might as well say I paid almost double😡

We have had the Sears Service Contracts on all our major appliances since 1994. Wouldn’t be without it given the rising costs of labor and parts. What I feel makes the difference between the a Sears contracts and others in the market is the no deductible clause. I do wish they would narrow the window of the appointment times to half a day. No one wants to sit there and wait from 8 AM until 5 PM for the technician to arrive. In our specific instance we have had the same technician come out for repairs at least the last five years and Scott is fantastic. Hope he never retires.
