Yesterday I had Same Day Heating & Air Conditioning install a new furnace at my house. An unforeseeable obstacle came to light during the installation. I was very impressed with how the technicians David and Joseph resolved the situation in consultation with the home office and the workable solution they came up with, as well as with the follow-up provided by Jeff who originally scoped the work. Great job all around, and no surprises. I'm very happy with the finished product and the service that was provided.

We used Same Day Heating & Air to install AC and we're very happy with their work! They came out to give an estimate, 2 grand cheaper out of three different companies, and started working the next day. Jamie, Lamar, and Jeff all came out and were very professional and respectful and worked well even with us having 3 kids and a dog in the house. They installed ac, furnace, and replaced all the ducting. Definitely recommend!

On 01/11/2022, I was having a single-zone mini-split system installed in the master bedroom of my El Cajon home. The employees (2) arrived on time and, according to my wife, were well prepared. I was at work and could not be there for the installation, but my wife was there in case of any problems or installer needs. I had explained to the guy who had come by a few days earlier to do the job evaluation EXACTLY where I wanted the inside unit located. I wanted it located in that specific place as I would clear the area for the employees to work unobstructed, as well as it was a convenient location for servicing the filters in the unit. He even took a photo of the desired location. My wife had also indicated to the installation employees when they arrived WHERE the unit was to be installed. The employees installed the inside unit in the wrong location. They placed the unit in a crowded corner of the bedroom directly over a small refrigerator (the worst place) instead of the space I had purposely cleared for them to work unobstructed (where my wife had indicated). I feel that any problems or deviations to the instructions they received should have been discussed with my wife (who would have called me at work) so any installation issues could be explained and cleared up before any work was performed. Instead, they performed the installation without ever consulting my wife (and me, by extension) about any difficulty or problem with the original location. When my wife finally went into the room to be instructed on the operation of the system, she discovered the unit had NOT been installed in the 'desired' location in the room. When she asked why they had changed the location, the employee gave some vague reason about how it could not be installed in the original desired location. If this was the case, she (and I) should have been consulted to approve the new location BEFORE any work was performed. And upon post-installation examination, I still cannot find or see any reason why the indoor unit could not have been installed as requested. This is extremely distressing! I must now bring a ladder into my bedroom to service the filters in the unit where, in the original desired location, I would have been able to service the unit without a ladder. What is worse, the employees actually consulted my wife (and me) about replacing a circuit breaker in the electrical panel, something I was grateful for, and thanked them for. They even asked to use the bathroom! I am at a total loss as to why they could not have consulted us about the location, a far more serious issue in my book. Additionally, the incorrect installation resulted in electrical conduit and contrasting-colored freon-line ductwork being installed on the house in such a way as to be very visible from the front of the house where if they had done the installation as I had originally wanted, the exterior cosmetic issues would have been minimal. To be fair, the system works as it should. There is nothing that can be done to correct the current installation without creating additional problems. The quality of the installation was top-notch except that they put the thing in the wrong location in my bedroom. To spend over $7,000, and find you were NOT consulted about a change in the interior installation was very disappointing. This makes me wonder how companies TRULY feel about their customers!
