I called for a facet repair (a worn washer). The only thing I didn't like was that they charge $65 to come out and do and estimate but I thought from experience that they would waive the service fee if you get work done with them. Well the total was $250. They didn't waive the service fee and a bit pricey. Being a previous client who called them for all my plumbing needs I thought I wouldn't have to pay a service fee. Oh and the repair guy smelled like liquor

Shaunte Wilson, Thank you for your feedback, and your continued patronage. As a regular customer, our service charge policy has not changed in the past 30 years of business. We do have a service charge/assessment charge for coming out. It is included in the cost of the repair, if you have it done, and if you don't its good on any future services. The parts for your older Kohler bathtub faucet parts (hot and cold steams) were very expensive, plus the labor cost of a professional plumber. The superintendent was your technician, we will speak to him about your assertions of the smell of alcohol. All of our technicians wear masks, have been fully vaccinated, and follow OSHA safety guidelines.

The service guy took two days to perform a service that would_should take a half day at most. The job entailed repair/replacing pipes under the kitchen sink., auger the waste pipe, pipe,. Fairly routine tasks for an experience d plumber. He was not equipped with the needed parts and had to travel to Home Depot for parts on at least two occasions. The cost was embassingly high but we negotiate d it down to a still extortous price. Although the overall quality of the work was good l cannot in good faith recommend this company to others .

Mr. Brooks, Thank you for your feedback. We are please to know you were happy with our services and the quality of work. To retain professional plumbers, can be more expensive than a non professional plumber or handyman that, improperly installed your plumbing that was leaking into the basement. As a result of the improperly installed plumbing in your kitchen, it did require for us to remove your double compartment sink, including the drains, inside the wall, water lines, and your 25 year old garbage disposal. Mr. Brooks your jobs was very involved and did take almost a full day but , not two days. We reinstalled everything correctly, as well as us waiting for you to go to the hardware store to purchase a new garbage disposal. We did have someone from our staff install a new electrical outlet for the new garbage disposal as well, and unclog the clog both kitchen sink drains. Yes, our service vehicles can not equipment every part for every job, so we may have to make a trip to a local hardware store. Your expectation to pay $400-500, is unrealistic for a professional company and the amount of work we did at your home. We did apply a senior citizen and military discount that saved you some money, but the price was very fair compared to our competitors.

I was thrilled with the work, very affordable and the crew was professional. I could not get anyone to come out on such a short notice, looking at several weeks out. Thank you Roy's Plumbing
