Friendly and helpful staff. I've been renovating my house this past year and with that process, I have had a lot of trash to dispose of. This site is great! Also, if you are a Robertson county resident, but do not have your license plate changed out quite yet, just bring in a utility bill to show the ladies at the weigh station when you go to pay and they will give you the Robertson county disposal rate. Thank y'all again!!

There were some men taking things off of their truck and they were blocking me from the whole area. One of the men that worked there got off of his machine and made the guys get back out of the way and stood there until I could back my truck in. The other guys just saw that I was an older woman and didn’t care.  The ladies at the scales are always polite too.

People are friendly and helpful! But if you show up 1 min after there cut off at 11:15 on Saturday's, closes at 11:45,You will not be allowed entrance. I do understand time is of the essence and the workers would like to enjoy there weekends as well. But see as though we are paying for the disposal of trash and many people have to drive from one side of the county to get there, a little leniency and understanding  would be more than appreciated.

Up from one star to four. I would like to stress that on this particular day I was having an extremely bad day- multiple things had happened prior to these events. I did call the landfill back and apologized for my reaction to not being allowed in the line. When I returned (on time) the next Saturday, I apologized personally to those who were there that was frustrated with that day. They are good people, working within the framework of the rules they are given. I am giving four stars out of five only because of the limited hours on Saturdays.

I got in line at 11:17, was not allowed to proceed. I gave them a piece of my mind, not that it did any good. Every time I've been there they seem more interested in closing time that customer service. And another thing, other counties have this service for FREE on full truckloads. This place has a $5.00 minimum charge, and certainly more when they charge by weight. Between the service here and the extremely high wheel tax, it makes me question moving my family to Robertson county.

In response to the reply below, the county I am from had lower taxes and no line itemization for the waste/convenience centers. That being said, I did call back and apologize for being so frustrated and out of line. The events leading up to my venting were numerous, and were not just related to the convenience center. I would also like to point out that while it is true that the center is not responsible for the Google Maps photo showing a Saturday closing time of 11:45, the center can contact Google asking the photo be removed or replaced. One last thing, the waste department needs a simple, easy to find website with locations days and hours of operation. If you already have one, it is not easy to find.

I apologize for your inconvenience today, but hours are posted as 11:15 because that is when we have to cut off the line. If we did not have a cut off people would continue to get in line. We have it so everyone can be unloaded and out by noon.  As far as the dumping fees, most counties that do not charge while dumping either bill you on your utility bill or the solid waste department gets enough from tax dollars. Robertson County only gets enough of the property taxes to allow residents to use the convenience centers for household bags at no charge.  Robertson County is a Transfer Station and the revenue from the scales is what pays the employees to process the waste and to pay for hauling and disposal of the waste.
