  While the company was quick and responsive, they did not call to let us know a tech was coming, so luckily I had not left. The tech found the issue within 15 minutes, and the part was simple to get, simple to install, and not expensive. We knew the hourly rate up front, knew there would be a diag/travel charge of $100, and asked for a quick estimate. Tech said 20 minutes to swap out the relay, but had to call for a price. Relay is under $30 from Grainger, way less at other sources. Price for an inexpensive relay and 20 minutes to install? $450.00 !!!!! MAKE SURE TO GET AN ESTIMATE!!!!

  John, So that I can research this further, what business were you working for at the time? Redblue does not charge a $100 diagnosis or travel charge, never has. Did the technician have to leave to get the repair part? Was this during normal weekday business hours? Thank you in advance for clarifying.   Had previously done work the end of April for over $500 air went out the exact same way again last week they said they couldn't come out until Monday at a frozen yogurt shop really couldn't wait 3 days with no air so after a second call they did come out fixed the same issue 2 hours labor and received an invoice for 689 dollars with 525 of that being labor charges... Ridiculous would never recommend them

  April 28th....first time on site. Frozen coil, broken belt, dirty filters, circuit 2 disconnected. Drain trap missing, return grill dirty. Replaced filters and belt. Notified customer of need for thorough cleaning of coils and possible refrigerant adjustment once system has thawed. $461 invoice. June 4th...second call, Friday night (OT). Replaced failed capacitors. Cleaned coils that hadn't yet been cleaned. Circuit 2 still disabled.
