  I decided to go local because I thought it would be the right thing to do. They were a bit pricey but thought "it's good for the community". They installed a heating and a/c unit, that I would NOT recommend to anyone. And I had asked them to leave enough space for me to instal a door. They did not leave room and they have refused to call me back. When he finally did, told me it was an easy fix and to do it myself. $1400 is not an easy fix, which is what it would cost to put the door in. The job was done poorly from the get go not having everything installed correctly. It's a shame that people get screwed for trying to do shop local.

  I believe in using local businesses when I can. On the review I read on Prewitt. I decided to use Prewitt. When we called Prewitt this morning and explained our problem which was sewage backing up and possibly a busted sewage pipe under the house. The receptionist said they could not snake it at the present time. She then stated there was a service charge of $65.00 for the first hour and a $55.00 dollar charge per hour after that which I was willing to pay. She then stated they do not give estimates and suggested we look some where else. I was not looking for an estimate. I was looking to get the problem fixed. No matter if I paid Prewitt Plumbing or another company it needed to be fixed. I am very glad that the receptionist can tell me how to spend my money, because I will not be spending it with them!!!
