Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had with any service company. My new air conditioning unit has had multiple issues that required service in the first 6 months. The company doesn't stand behind their products or their service and the staff is beyond rude. They don't listen, continually cut me off in the middle of an explanation and yell at me for being upset with them I guess it's not enough to overcharge a customer for a defective product, might as well yell at them as well.. Worst of all, the owner won't even take my call and stand behind his company and staff. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Five stars from start to finish. Our AC went out on a Friday afternoon and Preferred AC was very quick to come out for a service call and resolve the problem. Daniel called Friday night to discuss our issue and told us what to do until he could get there Saturday. He solved the issue Saturday morning and told us since the AC was 15 years old we definitely needed to replace it as it could go at any time. We did order a new AC and scheduled the installation as soon as our work schedule permitted a week later. They arrived promptly first thing in the morning as promised and were done by around noon. Frankie and a Manny were very professional and courteous. Did a fantastic job as the unit is on the third floor so I’m sure it was harder than usual to install. Can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend Preferred AC and their prices were also very reasonable!

0 stars. This company installed a Carrier unit in our new build per the builders. So I called them to schedule 6 month maintenance cleaning and inspections. I paid in advance. They came out the first time and it was surprisingly fast. They never set up the follow up appointment that I already paid for. So I followed up and had them come out regularly (every 6 months). The unit was cleaned 5 months ago ( now the unit is 2 years old) and we started having problems with the fan constantly staying on. I called them to come out because we were worried about the unit freezing up and losing AC with an infant in the house. They said the earliest appointment was in one week and it was not an emergency. So I called a different company and they came out that afternoon. When the new company took the front panel off they asked if we have ever had the unit cleaned or maintained. Black mold is growing all over our unit. The new service provider said there was no way this unit has ever been cleaned behind the front panel and it was disgusting. It is not Preferred Air fault that the fan stopped working correctly. It is Preferred Air’s fault for exposing my infant to black mold (see pictures below). When we called back the next day to complain to a manager, we spoke with Holly. HOLLY WAS VERY RUDE. Service manager Holly laughs at you and talks over you on the phone. She accused me of cursing at her empty the afternoon before because I said they were running a “shady” business. Holly, the service manager’s direct quote, “I’m nobody’s anything and I can talk to people how I want. I don’t care that I’m in customer service,” and then talked over me again. Stay away from this customer service. There are plenty of other great AC service providers in Florida

Hi Ms. Lukens. Thank you for bringing this situation to our attention. First and foremost, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Above all else, providing excellent service to our customers is our main goal and it is unfortunate that you feel that it was not demonstrated here. We would like you to know that we have shared this information with our team and according to our records you have not had regular maintenance on your system. The system has been in operation since November of 2015 and only had maintenance in February of 2017 & February of 2018. These pictures look normal for that type of service history. Monthly filter changes and regular maintenance is recommended on A/C systems.
