Love the space and nice park for children. Enjoy the extracurricular activities set up for members of the community as well as sports. Has a nice walking path for self/ dog clean up bags and recpticals available. Also includes pavilion with seating to eat and watch over kids at playground

Great walking trails next to River and through the forest-swamp. Good bathrooms. If you have been driving this a few hours and need a place to stretch your legs, Perquimans Parks & Rec. is a great place.

So much fun! My son and I both enjoyed it and can't wait to go back!

We absolutely love this place. Actual exercise equipment outside to use freely. Play ground close to the playing field for parents who have more than 1 child but only 1 in sports. Coaches are great.
We go fishing there off the dock on a regular basis. Restrooms widely available inside & outside

Friendly staff, lots of playground equipment, and plenty of trails to walk on. Only complaint is a huge lack of shade in the whole park. The designers literally must have cut every mature tree out then built park. Common sense would have suggested leaving a few but what do i know. Lol

I like going to this park to walk for exercise.there's an excellent trail you can walk with friends.there's also a roadway area you can choose to walk,people are careful when they see us walking.some of us like to walk about 7:00 am before it gets too hot.

Trails take the hiker from river's bank to more mesic forests with views of magnificent tulip poplar, white oak, bald cypress and ironwood as well as colorful autumn fruit displays of beautyberry and shining sumac. The wetland reclamation and bank erosion prevention projects allow visitors to learn about the importance of preserving natural resources.

Great park all around,  nice walking trails and an awesome gymnasium with a new floor.   Really neat playset and things to climb on.

Enjoyed  going out on the pier after early supper and watching the sunset.
So peaceful quite and relaxing. NATURE at it's best.
